Universal Display Corp. (NASDAQ:PANL) is expected by KeyBanc to report in-line Q2 sales and earnings, possibly even above Street expectations, and for guidance to be reiterated by management. The firm predicts Q2 earnings to be driven by robust Samsung smart phone demand and improved order rates. Shares have a Buy rating.
Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN): According to ThinkEquity, results for Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) and eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) indicate that European e-commerce trends continued to stay strong during Q2, and the firm believes that Amazon.com will benefit from the trend too. The firm predicts that Amazon will report noticeably higher Q2 pro-forma EPS than expected, and it keeps its Buy rating on the stock.
VMware, Inc. (NYSE:VMW) estimates and price target was lowered by Needham after the company’s June quarter results, but it keeps its Buy rating on the stock. The firm claims that while the Nicira acquisition is expensive, it supports the deal.
