Analysts: Walgreens Comps Fell Below Consensus and 3 More Research Notes to Read

Walgreens (NYSE:WAG): Bank of America Merrill Lynch said Walgreens’ June comparables of 2.3 percent fell slightly below a consensus of 2.4 percent. The firm maintains an Underperform rating and a $30 price target given increased promotional efforts and aggressive pricing.

US Airways (NYSE:LCC): Deutsche Bank has raised its US Airways June quarter  because of better passenger unit revenue performance and reduced unit cost. The firm rates the shares as Buy, with a $21 price target.

Mead Johnson (NYSE:MJN): Mead Johnson has been downgraded to Neutral from Conviction Buy at Goldman Sachs following China’s NDRC infant formula pricing probe and competitor price reductions. Goldman also lowered its earnings estimates to reflect reduced visibility and its price target to $83 from $96.

Dr Pepper Snapple (NYSE:DPS): Barclays has trimmed its estimates, which remain below consensus, to $0.82 from $0.83 versus a consensus of $0.85, given increased cautiousness on sales and volume forecasts. It keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares.
