Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE:WFT) and Baker Hughes (NYSE:BHI) Q3 estimates have been reduced by Susquehanna and Baker Hughes (NYSE:BHI) as a result of weak pricing in Canada, the two hurricane issues in the Gulf of Mexico, and competitive pressures in Mid Continent and Eagle Ford.

Pan American Silver Corp. (NASDAQ:PAAS) target has been raised by RBC Capital as a way to show the 24 percent rise in silver prices since July’s end. The firm believes that the Fed’s quantitative easing will keep beiqg positive for silver equities over the near-term, but it keeps a Sector Perform rating on the stock due to valuation.
Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX): After it metwith Boston Scientific’s management, RBC Capital thinks that the company’s cardiac rhythm management share continues its stability, and the company remains in position to beat EPS expectations in 2012. The firm keeps an Outperform rating and a $6 target on the stock.
Arris Group Inc. (NASDAQ:ARRS): According to Jefferies, its channel checks has confirmed that Technicolor is now another source of Wi-Fi Gateways to Comcast, which is believes is negative for Arris. This has influenced the firm to reduce its earnings estimates for the company, but Jefferies continues to believe that there is significant earnings upside potential for the company in 2013. The firm reiterates its Buy rating and a $17 price target on the stock.
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (NASDAQ:CTSH): Following its channel checks suggesting that Cognizant’s top-line compound annual growth rate for 2011-2015 has the potential to be up to 20 percent, which is above the current consensus at 17.5 percent. According to Jefferies, estimates for the company and the stock’s valuation remain lower than they should be. The firm keeps a Buy rating but raised its price target to $80 from $76 on the stock.
