Hess Corp. (NYSE:HES) has reached agreements with Petronas in the development of the North Malay Basin, which is located offshore the Peninsula of Malaya. Terms setting up the North Malay Basin Integrated Gas Development Project, include amendments to the current Production Sharing Contract for Block PM302, which Hess operates. The amendments increase the contract area to include nine new discovered fields in the North Malay Basin for natural gas production. Hess shares have traded in a range between $41.85 and $77.12 in the last 52 weks, but closed down 7.33 percent on the day at $40.97.
Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR) shares fell below their 52-week low to close at $15.88 (down 5.08 percent), after RBF lowered its price target from $24 to $14. The analyst is dubious regarding the firm’s company’s product transitions, and its ability to compete with Cisco’s (NASDAQ:CSCO) latest solutions. Cisco recruited several Juniper executives in 2011, and has been taking market share in the core router and Ethernet switch markets. The shares have been trading in a range of $15.95 to $33.11.
