2017 TV: Which Shows Have Been Canceled or Renewed?

2017 has already brought us some major TV cancellations and renewals. Though many networks wait until later in the year to make final decisions about their lineups, some channels have gotten an early start revealing which shows will be back for another season and which will be axed for good. Here’s a look at all of this year’s TV show cancellations and renewals so far. Note: We’ll continue to update as further announcements are made.

Blindspot: The drama has earned a Season 3 renewal.
Chicago Fire: The original of the Chicago-set drama will be back for Season 6.
Chicago Med:  The police procedural will get a fifth season.
Chicago P.D.: The medical drama has been renewed for Season 3.
Elementary: The Sherlock Holmes drama will be back for Season 6. 
The Good Place: The comedy has been greenlit for a 13-episode second season.
Great News:
The Tina Fey-produced comedy will get a second season.
Taken: The freshman adaptation of the hit movie franchise will return for Season 2. 
This is Us
: NBC’s breakout series has been renewed for two more 18-episodes seasons.
The Blacklist: The crime drama will return for Season 5.
Law & Order: SVU: Mariska Haritgay’s Olivia Benson returns in Season 19.
Superstore: The show will be back for a 22-episode third season.
