Clarus Corp. (NASDAQ:BDE): Black Diamond’s estimates and price target has been increased by Needham due to its acquisition of POC, based in Sweden. According to Needham, the deal feeds Black Diamond’s growth prospects, and the firm keeps a Strong Buy rating on the stock.
QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM): According to Sterne Agee, semiconducter makers could report low Q2 results, but the firm believes that weakness within some key handset suppliers like Qualcomm, RF Micro Devices (NASDAQ:RFMD), and Avago (NASDAQ:AVGO) will create buying opportunity. Also, the firm shows favor toward SanDisk (NASDAQ:SNDK) and Applied Micro Circuits (NASDAQ:AMCC) going into results for Q2, but remains cautious regarding Texas Instruments (NYSE:TXN) and Analog Devices (NYSE:ADI) because of valuations. Sterne Agee also states that Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) faces headwinds into 2H12 because of the Windows 8 transition. The firm keeps a Neutral rating on the stock.
