Dividend Changes to Know Now: Union Pacific, Brown-Forman, MDU Resources Group, Williams Companies, Neenah Paper

Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE:UNP): Union Pacific announces 15% dividend increase for Q4. Union Pacific announced that its Board of Directors voted today to increase the quarterly dividend on the company’s common shares by 15% to 69c per share. The increased dividend is payable January 2, 2013, to stockholders of record November 30, 2012.

Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BFA): Brown-Forman increases quarterly dividend 9.3% to 25.5c per share. Brown-Forman announced that its Board of Directors increased its quarterly cash dividend on its Class A and Class B Common Stock by 9.3% to 25.5c per share from the prior quarter’s 23.33c per share. As a result, the indicated annual cash dividend will rise from 93.33c per share to $1.02 per share. Stockholders of record on December 5, 2012 will receive their quarterly cash dividend on December 26, 2012.

MDU Resources Group Inc. (NYSE:MDU): MDU Resources raises quarterly dividend to 17.25c from 16.75c per share. The dividend is payable Jan. 1, 2013, to stockholders of record Dec. 13.

Williams Companies, Inc. (NYSE:WMB): Williams raises dividend to 32.5c from 31.25c. Dividend is payable Dec. 24, to holders of record at the close of business on Dec. 7.

Neenah Paper, Inc. (NYSE:NP): Neenah Paper raises annual dividend 25% to 60c per share. Neenah Paper announced that its board approved a 25% increase in the regular dividend on the company’s common stock. The annual dividend will increase from 48c to 60c per share and will continue to be paid in four equal quarterly installments. The first installment at the new rate of 15c per share is scheduled to be paid on March 4, 2013 to shareholders of record as of February 15, 2013.
