A leaked internal Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) document appears to offer further confirmation for the rumored September iPhone launch timeframe. A company calendar obtained exclusively by Apple Insider shows that the Cupertino-based company is drastically restricting the amount of time off that AppleCare employees can take from September 15 through September 28.
According to unnamed sources cited by AllThingsD, Apple will unveil the next-generation iPhones at a media event on September 10. Based on previous iPhone launches, the new devices are expected to be on store shelves by September 20.
The AppleCare employee calendar dates are also in line with employee vacation blackout dates from some of Apple’s carriers. Unofficial T-Mobile (NYSE:TMUS) news blog TmoNews recently revealed that the wireless provider had scheduled employee blackout dates from September 20 through September 22.
