Walt Disney Co.’s (NYSE:DIS) “The Avengers” might meet its box office forecast of $40 million over the coming three-day weekend, but Sony Pictures’ (NYSE:SNE) “Men in Black 3″ is projected to gross around $80 million in North America, which would pretty much double that of the former title, says the Los Angeles Times. If this comes true, “The Avengers” will be pushed off its current number one slot that it has held since its domestic debut some three weeks ago.

Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK) reports that it has introduced in Rwanda the first national rotavirus vaccination program in Africa, with Rota Teq, which is the firm’s vaccine for the prevention of rotavirus disease. A health center in the Musanze District, Northern Province, will see the first infants to receive Rota Teq, and following that, the vaccine will be routinely administered to all infants in the country, as part of its national vaccination program. The Government of Rwanda Ministry of Health forecasts that more than 100,000 children will be vaccinated during the current year.
