NVIDIA Corporation‘s (NASDAQ:NVDA) Tegra processor will be the foundation of Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Win RT tablets. Nomura at this time does not plan on any 2012 contribution from Win RT and thinks it might fuel an incremental $80-$100M in back half revenues. Shares of NVIDIA are Buy rated with an $18 price target.
J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP): Baird reduced its price target on J.C. Penney after news of its’ president’s departure was reported. Baird did report it is positive regarding a number of new initiatives but wary of near term uncertainty and therefore holds to its Neutral rating.
IHS Inc.‘s (NYSE:IHS) price target has been elevated by Baird after Q2 results citing plans for a speed-up in organic shipment growth, continued international expansion, and more margin expansion. Shares are rated Outperform.
Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) has seen its stock fall dramatically since April 12, but Argus thinks that ideas about the stock will get better thanks to impressive growth at the company’s Macau and Singapore locations, plus markers of a Las Vegas improvement. Argus is sticking to a $64 target and Buy rating on LVS shares.
Celestica Inc. (NYSE:CLS) announced that it is slowing manufacturing services businesses for Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) removes and overhang, according to Cannacord. Cannacord predicts gross and operating margins to get better as Research in Motion’s income is offset by diversified revenue growth. Shares of Celestica are Buy rated with a $10.25 price target.
