Shares of Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) jumped 1.32 percent today in pre-market trading. The world’s largest entertainment company announced a 25.0 percent hike in its annual dividend. Disney will now pay a dividend of 75 cents per share.
Aeropostale (NYSE:ARO) shares sank 10.20 percent after reporting financial results for the third quarter. The clothing retailer posted net income of $24.9 million (31 cents per share), compared to $24.1 million (30 cents per share) last year. However, the company provided guidance for the current quarter below Wall Street’s expectations.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) shares are higher today early morning. The struggling computer company had its credit ratings cut by Moody’s, which cited competition and execution worries. “Although HP will maintain strong to leading positions in a number of product areas, the company’s credit profile will remain weaker than previously expected over the intermediate term,” Richard Lane, a Moody’s senior vice president, explained in a statement. Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) shares also edged lower on the news on Wednesday.
Shares of TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) dropped 0.46 percent today, despite reporting better-than-expected earnings for the third quarter. Net income came in at $59 million (44 cents per share), compared to a net loss of $24.5 million a year earlier. The mean analyst estimate expected a loss of 23 cents per share.
