Inmarsat Plc London (IMASF.PK) reaches a long-term arrangement with Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO) which will enable its Global Xpress high-throughput satellite broadband network. Cisco will construct and operate the network and develop a router for it prior to transferring control to Inmarsat.

Vringo (AMEX:VRNG) shares pop Monday following word that it will bring a suit against ZTE Corporation’s (ZTCOY.PK) United Kingdom division concerning 3 patents said to be infringed by the latter’s mobile phones and infrastructure gear. The patents seem to be among those Vringo recently bought from Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK), and could probably be used in suits against other mobile hardware suppliers as well. A number of the Nokia patents were declared to be standards-essential, and likely should to be licensed on FRAND terms.
