Net income decreased -31.25% to $44 million (61 cents per diluted share) in the quarter versus a net gain of $64 million in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue rose 8.21% to $1.13 billion from the year-earlier quarter.
Alaska Air Group, Inc. reported adjusted net income of 70 cents per share. By that measure, the company missed the mean analyst estimate of $0.71. It met the average revenue estimate of $1.13 billion.
