According to the analyst, an iPhone 5S with some feature upgrades will be launched alongside a cheaper version of the Apple smartphone in the fiscal third quarter of the year. The iPhone 5S will have feature a built-in fingerprint sensor, an improved camera, and a more powerful processor. A less-expensive version of the iPhone, which has lit up the rumor wires lately, will have a plastic chassis in six different colors, Kuo says.
The fifth-generation 9.7-inch iPad, meanwhile, will feature a lighter frame and include the narrow bezels of the current iPad mini. The upgrade of the smaller tablet will be more substantial and include a new 2,048-by-1,536 pixel Retina display.
