Shares of Zynga Inc. (NASDAQ:ZNGA) dropped almost 3 percent in late market trading. The social gaming company reported a net loss of $435 million ($1.22 per share) for the fourth quarter. Revenues increased 59 percent to $311.2 million.
Metlife Inc. (NYSE:MET) shares jumped 2.9 percent in extended trading. After the closing bell, the insurance and financial company reported fourth quarter net income of $1.16 billion ($1.06 per share), compared to $82 million (5 cents per share) in the year earlier quarter. Shares of Prudential Financial Inc. (NYSE:PRU) edged slightly higher on the news.

Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) shares bounced 3 percent after David Einhorn’s Greenlight Capital disclosed a new $45 million stake in the BlackBerry maker. Greenlight Capital also disclosed a new stake in Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO), while adding to shares in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL).
Shares of DaVita Inc. (NYSE:DVA) increased 1 percent in late trading. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKB) disclosed a new 2.7 million position in the company, worth $227 million. Berkshire Hathaway also added a new 1.7 million position in Liberty Media (LMCA), but reduced its stake in Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) and Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM).

Lowe’s Companies Inc. (NYSE:LOW) shares edged .30 percent after the closing bell. Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management disclosed it sold its entire stake in the home improvement company. The fund also sold shares in Kraft Foods (NYSE:KFT) and Family Dollar Stores (NYSE:FDO).
