GM reported total sales of 207,145 vehicles in September, which represents a year-over-year increase of 20%.  Don Johnson, VP of US Sales Operations, was quoted as saying “We’re well positioned going forward because we have momentum and another wave of fuel-efficient passenger cars launching over the next several months.”
