1. New York City, NY

The City That Never Sleeps is apparently putting all that extra time to work clipping coupons. Residents of New York City clip coupons 1.3 times more than the national average and saved an impressive $66.5 million collectively in 2017. NYC took the top spot in total savings when compared to every other city on this list, but did not win top marks when it came to average savings per resident.

Shoppers clip coupons 1.2 times more than the average shopper and saved a cumulative $6.3 million in 2017. Considering the average cost of living in Orlando is higher than the national average, according to BestPlaces, it’s no surprise that residents are saving where they can.
