Disney Cruise Line Just Announced the Newest Destination for 2018, and It Looks Magical
Disney cruise fanatics are everywhere. Literally. For good reason, folks can’t seem to get enough of the award-winning cruise line. And despite the popular notion that Disney cruises consist of cartoon overload and Mickey Mouse-obsessed cruisers, the vibe aboard a Disney cruise is what you make of it. In fact, there are plenty of adults that book Disney cruises sans children. Because yes, they love them that much.
The latest news delivered by the cruise line is none other than the newest 2018 itineraries. And the best part is, they’ve revealed a brand new destination. So, without further ado, here’s where Disney Cruise Line will be heading for the very first time in 2018.
1. Sailing to Bermuda
Ah, Bermuda. It’s a stunning island known for its pink sand beaches and incredible coral reefs, and Disney wants to take you there next fall. This will be the cruise line’s first time there. And to top it all off, the cruise offerings are themed, with two different itineraries to choose from.
2. Halloween on the High Seas Bermuda Cruise from New York
Guests have their pick between two itineraries — either the 5-Night or the 6-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bermuda Cruise from New York. Choosing the five night trip puts passengers in Bermuda for two full days, while the six night trip guarantees you’ll be soaking up the sun on those sandy beaches for three full days.
3. It will be a “spook-tacular” cruise
Anyone with a true love of cruising, along with an undying passion for all things Halloween, should definitely book this cruise. Seeing as Disney’s putting on the spectacle, we’re certain there will be no shortage of incredible theatrics and unforgettable fantasy along the way. While the ship is at sea, there will be “ghoulishly grand onboard activities, décor, and entertainment.”
4. The ship: Disney Magic
Disney Magic is the ship of choice for all Bermuda sailings, which is good news for any family who’s thinking about planning their trip. With spacious suites and all the Disney magic that passengers expect, the cruise ship features top-notch entertainment (including a Pirate Night), on-board activities, and, of course, a wide array of dining options.
5. The port: King’s Wharf, Bermuda
Bermuda is a breathtaking blend of British, American, and West Indian influence, and King’s Wharf serves as the ultimate launching pad for off-ship adventure. With tons of authentic, local cuisine, laid-back island vibes, and stunning scenery to boot, Bermuda’s a land of many, many sights worth seeing.
6. Shore excursions
Calling all sports fans, this one’s for you. While docked at the port, cruisers will have the chance to explore Bermuda’s coastline, tour historic sites, or play a round of golf on an award-winning course. Stunning beaches, incredible scuba diving, and crystal caves make Bermuda a top bucket list-worthy destination for people around the world.
7. Rates and dates
As the temperatures begin to drop in many parts of the country, October is the perfect time to plan a little getaway. If you want to swap those chilly autumn nights for something a bit more pleasant, it’s time to start saving your pennies.
Departing on Oct. 4, 19, 24, and 29 of 2018, the five night cruise starts at $2,531. Pricing for the six night option, which departs New York on Oct. 13, 2018, starts at $3,239.
