Before he achieved international fame thanks to shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Master Chef, and Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay earned his spot as a major player in the culinary world. And now, he’s adding a new kind of restaurant to his resume.
In late January 2018, Ramsay opened Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas, which means you, too, can dine like a contestant on the show. Sort of.

“Gordon Ramsay is one of the biggest talents in culinary,” Bob Morse, Caesars Entertainment president of hospitality told Travel + Leisure in an email. “Gordon’s attention to detail, passion and pursuit of perfection speak to his character and professionalism. Gordon and his team are incredible partners,” Morse said.

The restaurant is located in a prime location
As if his name alone weren’t enough to get people in the door, there’s no missing the in-your-face location of Hell’s Kitchen. Boasting yet another enviable location, Ramsay’s newest restaurant is located in front of Caesars Palace. And it is already on fire.

12,000 reservations were made during the first ten days of booking
Combine the fan following of a wildly successful TV show with a top-notch location on the strip, and any celebrity-chef-run restaurant would draw quite the crowd. But the number of reservations at the 300-seat-spot surpassed all expectations.
According to Caesars Palace, there were 12,000 hungry hopefuls in a 10-day period — a number that shocked everyone, even Ramsay himself.

According to Dallas News, Ramsay hopes to film some of the show at the restaurant, including the finale, perhaps. Why? Because the place is a near-perfect replica of the set we see on TV. And it looks spot-on.

Patrons entering Hell’s Kitchen instantly recognize the signature fiery pitchfork from the show. And then, Ramsay greets folks via a life-size video screen. If that’s not enough, there are two chefs tables for those who’d like a front row seat to all the action.
While floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the sparkling Las Vegas strip, perhaps the most notable aspect of the restaurant’s design is in the kitchen — naturally. The open kitchen is split into red and blue halves, each with chefs in corresponding red or blue jackets and bandanas — just like on the show.

Ramsay’s personality makes him an unstoppable force in the already-saturated Las Vegas scene
Not just anyone can show up to Sin City, set up shop, and start rolling in the dough. After all, there are already so many stars doing just that. So, the fact that Ramsay has seen such success in the food and entertainment mecca that is Las Vegas sure says a lot.
“His brand is especially potent on the Strip, as he strikes a balance (maybe better than anyone) between culinary boss and clever showman,” Travel + Leisure explains. “His sticky toffee pudding is rich enough to be considered a thrill ride, but Hell’s Kitchen is no theme park. It’s an excellent restaurant wrapped in a novelty.”
Despite all the things working in Ramsay’s favor, he’s not resting on his laurels with this one.

As mentioned, this restaurant is Ramsay’s fifth in Las Vegas. While another chef in his position may see it as a chance to kick back, relax, and not worry about a thing, Ramsay does not. In fact, the “sharp-tongued chef said that simply putting his name above the door isn’t a recipe for success,” The Los Angeles Times says.
