Throwing Punches and Public Peeing: The Terrible People You Never Want on Your Flight
The more often you fly, the more likely you are to see something strange. Some people just don’t know how to behave in public, and these nightmare passengers prove that point. From smearing excrement on bathroom walls (page 4), to punching pregnant women (page 7), and even peeing in a seat (page 10), you’ll thank your lucky stars these people didn’t board your flight.
1. A woman called 911 for a flight delay
Flight delays happen, and nobody exactly enjoys them. A Reddit commenter shared a story about a woman who got belligerent about it. On a flight from JFK to Heathrow, a lady demanded to be let off the plane after the doors had closed. The attendant refused, since the plane had already begun the taxi.
The passenger then called 911 from her cell phone. She said the flight attendants were holding her “against her will on a foreign airline.” Within moments, FBI vans surrounded the plane and grounded it for further investigation. In the end, she got what she wanted — sort of.

2. André the Giant saved the day
One Reddit commenter said a celebrity saved her from sexual harassment when she worked as a flight attendant. During one flight, a passenger became very rude, groping flight attendants and also making lewd comments. After a little while, André the Giant came over.
“I believe you’re bothering the ladies,” the giant man said to the passenger. He sat right back down and didn’t make a sound for the rest of the flight. Thanks, André!
Next: Police had to forcibly remove the following passenger.
3. This man touched a passenger and got tasered
On a flight from Miami to Chicago, belligerent behavior caused Jacob Garcia to get tasered and removed, according to CBS News. Garcia allegedly touched a female passenger inappropriately, at which time they transferred him to another seat. After Garcia began screaming at the woman and her boyfriend, airline officials called the authorities.
When officers attempted to remove Garcia from the plane, he locked his legs around a seat. Police tasered Garcia 10 times to get him to calm down, after which Garcia also reached for an officer’s handgun. The passenger subsequently faced charges of battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting officer.

4. Soiling a bathroom led to this man’s ejection
United had to ground a flight from Chicago to Hong Kong after “a disruptive passenger,” according to The Washington Post. Turns out, a passenger smeared his poo all over the bathroom and also tried to flush his shirt. The disaster caused the plane to land in Anchorage, where it underwent emergency overnight maintenance.
Upon landing, airline authorities handed the man over to police. He reportedly cooperated, and the case now rests with the FBI.

5. A man in a MAGA hat got enraged
A belligerent man in a “Make America Great Again” hat got booted off a plane in Shanghai, The Washington Post reports. As he exited the plane waving a seat cushion, he defiantly waved as passengers chanted, “Lock him up! Lock him up!” The whole thing started because he wanted to get upgraded.
“I think he called [a fellow passenger] Hillary,” one passenger told reporters. “Then he called her a lesbian. I think he called a stewardess ‘sweetheart.’” A United spokesman also gave a statement that he became increasingly disruptive when asked to deplane. Local law enforcement took him away, and the flight eventually departed without him.
Next: The following interaction just got worse and worse.
6. A man allegedly punched a service dog
A deaf man, Matthew Silvay, got into an altercation with Timothy Manley in the aisle of a Frontier flight, according to ABC News. Silvay alleged that Manley punched his service dog, Zariel. Silvay’s fiancee, Hazel Ramirez, said Silvay became upset and “yelled at the man to tell him ‘never touch any dogs or service animals.”
Next: Manley also denied the interaction went down quite like that.
7. He also stands accused of punching a pregnant woman
Manley denied hitting the dog, describing it as a “swat.” “I pushed her away,” he told ABC News, adding that he did so because of his wife’s allergies. “I wouldn’t call it a punch.” According to a police report obtained by ABC News, Manley “punched it with a closed fist.” Zariel subsequently yelped and cowered under a seat.
Ramirez also told police that she “was punched in the stomach by Timothy” and that her two small children “were touched by Timothy,” according to the report. “Unfortunately, the man [was] determined to leave so he ran through and punched my belly, then pushed my two daughters; they fell and cried so hard,” Ramirez said.
Next: The deaf man also got into a fight with Manley.
8. The deaf man attacked the other before police arrived
In the police report, Silvay admitted he also tackled Manley. He said he did so to detain him, until police arrived. The Orlando department ultimately turned the case over to the FBI. A spokeswoman for the FBI said they have not yet determined an appropriate response.
“We continue to look into this incident with our local law enforcement partners to determine a course of action,” she said, in a statement.
Next: The following passenger should have kept his hands to himself.
9. This dude started feeling up his seatmate
According to The Washington Post, Michael Allen Haag started his flight from Denver to Charleston by telling his seatmate he felt “physically excited” to see his old girlfriend. Sometime later, Haag’s attention went to the woman on his right.
She recalled waking to discover Haag touching her fingers. “Stop touching me,” she told him. He apparently apologized repeatedly, as he cornered her against the window. When Haag allegedly touched her leg, she yelled, “If this man … touches me one more time, I’ll … kill him,” a fellow passenger told KDVR.
Next: The altercation also didn’t end there.
10. He began peeing in his new seat
According to an FBI statement, Haag appeared clearly intoxicated and possibly high. According to photos the passenger shared with the CBS affiliate in Denver, Haag initially slouched over in his seat. He then began peeing into the seatback pocket, while still buckled in.
“And I scream,” the passenger recalled. “He’s … peeing! He’s peeing! Oh my God!” “Frontier has zero tolerance for behavior that affects the safety of our passengers and crew,” said a statement the airline sent to The Washington Post. “We are supporting authorities in their investigation.” Haag now faces up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
