According to the rumor mill, the former Breaking Bad star will be signing on to take on the role of Eddie Dean in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. Warner Bros. has yet to confirm anything, but Paul and King’s recent Twitter exchange certainly seems hopeful. “Dear @StephenKing, How goes it my friend? So, about these Dark Tower rumors. What are your thoughts? Could you put in a good word for me?,” Paul wrote on Twitter. King later responded, “Indeed I will. I’m a big fan.”

As of now, the casting remains a rumor, but Paul would join the likes of Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba, if he officially boards the project.

Earlier this week, Stallone was photographed on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, sparking rumors that he may have a role in the upcoming superhero blockbuster. Neither Marvel or director James Gunn have commented on the speculation, but a new report from Heroic Hollywood claims that Stallone will indeed be a part of the movie. According to the site, the actor will be playing a new member of Yondu’s team of Ravagers and has reportedly already shot several scenes. The Ravagers weren’t as much of a focus in the original Guardians of the Galaxy, but if Stallone’s casting is true, it seems the group is set to get more screen time in the upcoming sequel.

Though conversations have reportedly already taken place, it’s still early on and no official negotiations or offers have happened just yet.
