5 TV Show Finales We Can’t Wait to Watch in March

March will bring several notable TV finales to the small screen, with both freshman and returning shows set to air their final episodes of the season this month. From the end of Marvel’s Agent Carter Season 2 to the conclusion of ABC’s anthology series American Crime, here are five TV show finales to watch out for in the coming weeks.

1. Marvel’s Agent Carter, March 1

The sophomore season of ABC’s comic-themed series, starring Hayley Atwell as Marvel’s Peggy Carter, will come to a close this month. The 10-episode season, which follows Carter as she moves to Los Angeles to deal with the threats of the new atomic again post-WWII, currently airs during the mid-season break of Agents of SHIELD. The show has seen a decline in ratings in this season, and ABC has yet to confirm whether it will be renewed for a third season.

2. The Mysteries of Laura, March 2

NBC’s police procedural comedy drama will wrap up its 16-episode second season this month. Starring Debra Messing, the show centers on New York City homicide detective Laura Diamond as she attempts to balance her day job with her home life as a single mother to two unruly sons. The network has yet to announce any plans for a possible third season renewal.

3. American Crime, March 9

The sophomore season of ABC’s critically acclaimed crime drama takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana and follows the story of a student at a private school on a scholarship who accuses several members of the school’s championship basketball team of sexually assaulting him and posting photos of the incident online. The 10-episode story, which touches on themes of cyberbullying, racism, homophobia, and social class, will air its final installment this month. While the network has not officially announced a renewal yet, a third season of American Crime is already in development and will reportedly focus on the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina.

4. Angie Tribeca, March 28

The TBS comedy, created by Steve and Nancy Carell and starring Rashida Jones, is a satire of the police procedural shows that are currently popular on TV. The 10-episode first season debuted in a 24-hour marathon in January and is also available on demand, but it has also been airing in traditional weekly installments on Monday nights on TBS. The final episode of the well-received spoof series will air this month. A 10-episode second season has already been green-lit.

5. You, Me, and the Apocalypse, March 31

The British comedy-drama miniseries originally premiered on Sky in the U.K. and airs on NBC stateside. The show follows a group of ordinary people who learn that an 8-mile-wide comet is on a collision course with Earth and decide to hunker beneath the town of Slough to watch the end of the world on television. Rob Lowe, Jenna Fischer, Megan Mullaly, and Matthew Baynton star in the series, which will air the final episode of its 10-episode season this month.
