’90 Day Fiancé’: Angela Deem Donates Handmade Masks to Food Workers, Fans React
90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem is receiving praise from fans of the show after her recent efforts to help food workers in need during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. What’s more, she isn’t the only 90 Day Fiancé alum helping out during the crisis. Annie Suwan, who married David Toborowsky on her season of the show, is helping out by sewing masks in her spare time. Meanwhile, Geoffrey Paschel has faced some backlash from fans of the show for his posts about coronavirus supplies during the crisis.
Angela Deem helps those in need, ‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans react
When it comes to 90 Day Fiancé fans, Angela Deem can be somewhat divisive. But no one can criticize the reality star for her most recent actions against coronavirus. The TLC franchise alum has been making and distributing face masks to those in need within her community.
Deem posted a series of photos of herself posing with McDonald’s employees in her community. The employees are wearing masks that Deem and her partner, Michael Ilesanmi, have distributed.
Deem captioned the post, “The current pandemic has stirred up fear, we should not fear but rather spread love no matter how little and keep the hope alive, Micheal and I donated 35 face masks to McDonald’s in my community Halzehurst. Also [t]o every employee and to Krystal as well. May God heal our land and God bless America and all over the [w]orld.”
Fans seemed thrilled to see Deem helping those in need. One Instagram user commented, “God bless you and your family for helping all of those that others tend to forget. I’m givin’ you a great big virtual hug!!!”
Another user added, “[Angela] you’ve got such a good heart. I feel like you’d be the house the neighbourhood kids would go to when they’d had a fight with their mom, then you’d give them a no sh*t talking to (with love) and call their mammas to come pick ‘em up. Stay safe! Love to you and yours.”
Annie Suwan contributes to coronavirus supplies
Angela Deem isn’t the only 90 Day Fiancé cast member joining the fight against coronavirus. Annie Suwan is also making and handing out masks during the crisis.
David Toborowsky recently posted a photo of Suwan hard at work to his Instagram. He captioned the photo, “Annie’s Kitchen is temporarily closed because The Annie Factory is open until the end of Covid-19. She will be making as many masks as she can. Stand by for more info. Be safe, be happy and we will Kick Covids Ass. We love you all and if we all stick together nothing bad can happen. “
Suwan is well-known for her culinary skills among fans of the show, so they know that Suwan closing her kitchen means things are serious.
‘90 Day Fiancé stars Geoffrey Paschel faces backlash
Meanwhile, Geoffrey Paschel has faced some fan backlash following a photo he posted earlier during the coronavirus crisis. In the photo, Paschel poses on a throne made out of toilet paper, paper towels, and Corona beer.
One user commented on the photo, “I still have to work. Single mom. No support. No toilet paper and you sit on it making jokes. Unreal.”
Another Instagram user added, “Posting a pic of yourself seated in the middle of an excess amount of toilet paper and paper towels was particularly obnoxious! Perhaps you don’t care that people who unable to afford such panic buying, were left without basic cleaning supplies, water & paper goods. Glad your doing good though.”
