Ash reveals the status of his and Avery’s relationship post ’90 Day Fiancé’

Ash and Avery experienced a bumpy ride on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Their relationship seemed to improve by the season finale, but many fans were still worried that they were headed for a major breakup.

Avery came into the relationship with quite a few trust issues, and Ash’s behavior did not quell her concerns. Despite their problems, they agreed to spend more time together in the United States as soon as Ash got the proper travel visa.

But when a fan recently asked Ash if he and Avery were still a thing, the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star replied with a hard “no.” Ash immediately deleted the comment, though he later confirmed the split in an interview on The Domenick Nati Show.

Ash admitted that he and Avery have split following their time on the show, though their interactions during the tell-all suggest that it was somewhat of an amicable breakup. And that is hardly the only thing Ash dished on during the interview.

Ash slams Big Ed for using Rose for Vega

Ash also opened up about how Big Ed treated Rose on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The reality star revealed that he thinks Big Ed used Rose to gain fame at her detriment before adding that he does not “like that Ed brings young girls on his live.”

Big Ed came under fire on the show for his insulting comments and rude behavior towards Rose. After flying to the Philippines to meet her, Big Ed bought Rose some dental hygiene products and told her that her breath stinks.

He also asked if she would take an STD test but refused to take one himself. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he also completely lied about wanting to have more children, something that was a major dealbreaker for Rose.

Things got so bad that Rose packed her bags in front of the cameras and left Big Ed at their hotel. He was then forced to fly home by himself and quickly became one of this season’s biggest villains.

What did Big Ed say about the fame allegations?

Nash is not the only one who believes Big Ed acted selfishly. 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans have also accused him of using the show to boost his popularity while Rose recently bashed him for seeking the spotlight on social media.

In response to all of the speculation, Big Ed recently assured fans that if he was really in it for the fame, then he would have approached the situation very differently. According to Cinema Blend, Big Ed says that he is simply a “good” and that his behavior on the show did not cast him in a good light.

“What’s so ironic about this situation is that you look at the show and everybody’s like ‘You did this for fame. All the things you do are just you trying to show off.’ First of all, name one thing I did to make myself look good…I didn’t! That’s who I am. I’m just a natural goof,” he explained.

Regardless of his intentions, Big Ed has enjoyed a huge boost in popularity after appearing on the show. And his attempts to launch his own brand and sell products on social media is a clear indication that is taking advantage of the situation.

That does not mean he was insincere towards Rose, but fans probably won’t buy his excuse any time soon.

Fans can watch Big Ed, Rose, and Ash return to action when the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all airs June 7 on TLC.
