’90 Day Fiancé’: Babygirl Lisa Hamme Influenced Anfisa Nava Who Says Is a ‘Huge’ Fan
Lisa Hamme is one of the breakout stars from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The reality show personality has been causing headlines for her controversial storyline on the hit TLC series. Hamme flew to Nigeria to marry her boyfriend Usman Umar. Their plans were to marry so she could apply for a visa to bring him over to America.
Hamme and Umar’s road to marriage was complicated by major setbacks. The latter is an entertainer that goes by the name SojaBoy. As a performer, he gets hit up by a lot of women, which sets off Hamme. Her jealousy sometimes gets the best of her and it all ends up creating havoc.
Although Hamme is not a fan-favorite, she can count on one former 90 Day Fiancé star as a follower. Anfisa Nava, the controversial star of season’s past, is said to be a huge fan of Hamme’s.
Although Nava doesn’t appear on the reality series anymore, she does seem to watch with her new boyfriend Leo Assaf. After Nava announced she had decided on the college was she was going to attend in the fall, Assaf left her a sweet message.
“Congratulations baby love,” he wrote on Instagram. “One thing that I love about you is that you don’t let anyone or anything stop you. I couldn’t be any happier for you and I’m so proud of you.”
Nava replied with the following: “Thank you, baby love.”
After seeing this exchange a 90 Day fan called Nava out for using the “baby love” expression.
“Please don’t call each other baby love, reminds me of Lisa and Usman,” the fan noted.
The influence that Hamme has had on Nava is evident as she explains that’s the reason why uses that nickname for her husband.
“That’s why we are doing it, huge fans,” Nava replied.
Anfisa Nava headed to a university
Nava is estranged from her husband Jorge Nava after he was sent to prison. During that time away, Nava started attending community college to advance her education.
“In January 2018 I enrolled in [a] community college with a goal of getting an Associate’s Degree in business administration and then possibly transferring to a 4-year university to get a Bachelor’s degree,” she posted recently.
The former TLC star mentioned that she had a “great experience” attending community college and was graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
“I will not get tired of praising [the] community college system, which gives everyone a chance of pursuing education in the US,” she added. “I had great professors and even managed to make a few friends.”
In November 2019, Nava applied to 9 different universities in California. She explained that she was accepted to 7 of them as well as her top-choice school, UCI.
“I got accepted to all schools except UC Berkeley which rejected me and UCLA which waitlisted me,” she explained. “My top choice was UCI and that’s where I am going to go this fall. Huge thanks to everyone who keeps supporting me in my journey.”
Nava further revealed in the comments that she plans on majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
