’90 Day Fiance’: Big Ed Dishes About How Things Turned Out For Him
Each week, it seems that 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days gets crazier and crazier. All of the couples have hit at least a few bumps in their relationships but one couple just can’t seem to get past their issues and that’s Ed Brown and his Filipino girlfriend, Rosemarie.
Their relationship started out on shaky footing as Brown lied about a number of things, including his height. Even after Rosemarie was able to forgive him for that, Brown continued to be controlling and demanding with her. So, how did things turn out for Brown? Did he get a happy ending?
Ed’s doubts about Rosemarie
Though Brown was in love with Rosemarie, he had doubts about her feelings for him. Before they even met in person, Brown had been sending money to Rose. And then, her sister tried to ask for money as well.
“Oh, that freaked me out,” Brown told Entertainment Tonight of being asked for money by Rose’s sister. “That was weighing heavy on my mind all the way that flight over. I was thinking about that like, what if this is a scam? What if Rose is in on it? And after 28 years, here we go again, I failed. I failed. So, that just kept going through my mind.”
How do things turn out for Big Ed?
Things haven’t been the best for Brown and Rose, but some fans are still holding out hope that things can turn around for them. But from his interview with Us Weekly, it doesn’t look like that happened.
“The only thing I can say is I got a bigger house and that’s all I can say about that,” he said when asked about his life now. “I’m definitely in love. Things are much better with my daughter [Tiffany].”
And though it’s not clear whether he is with Rose now or not, he’s happy with his experience.
“Falling in love again after [more than] 20 years was the most scary and the most wonderful thing I’ve ever done,” he said. “I have a new chapter in my life, there’s a new chapter in our lives and we’re both very happy.”
Is there anything Big Ed would change?
Brown traveled to the Philippines to meet Rose and he had a number of scary run-ins while he was there.
“First of all, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into,” he said. “I can’t really talk about that too much, but I was in fear of my life. There was one night where I didn’t think I was gonna make it, and that’s the honest to God truth.”
And this made him realize that his feud with his daughter was unwarranted.
“I wasn’t listening to what my daughter was saying. She cared about me, but I thought she didn’t,” he said. “In my mind, I’m thinking, ‘Oh, she doesn’t want to share me with anybody else.’ But that wasn’t it at all. She doesn’t have a problem sharing me with another family, but she was worried about my safety.”
