’90 Day Fiance’: Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima’s Divorce is Finalized. Here are the Details
The series follows couples made up of one American citizen and one foreign national who has applied for the K-1 Visa, which allows foreigners to come to the U.S. for 90 days. If the couples do not get married at the end of the 90-day period, the foreign person must leave the States and go back to their home
The relationship between Larissa Dos Santos Lima and Colt Johnson
Throughout the seasons of the show, there have been some couples who didn’t really seem to match. But none more so than Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima. The two were like oil and water from the very beginning. Where Johnson was quiet and soft-spoken, Dos Santos Lima was loud and quite argumentative.
From the moment Dos Santos Lima moved to Las Vegas to be with Johnson and saw that he lived in a humble apartment with his mom, it didn’t seem like the relationship would last.
Dos Santos and Johnson’s divorce
Shortly after the show wrapped, the two decided to end their relationship. Their divorce was finalized at the beginning of this month.
“Colt Johnson and Larissa dos Lima Santos Lima have come to settlement terms in their divorce,” Johnson’s attorney Shawanna L. Johnson told People. “Through their respective attorneys, they have agreed to settle the case amicably with both parties bearing their own fees and costs.”
The attorney’s statement continued, detailing the stipulations of the seperation.
“Colt is very pleased that the matter is resolved and that both parties can move on with their lives,” the statement read. “Given the short duration of the marriage and with there being no property matters or custody considerations, the matter should have, and has, settled early in the proceedings. The attorneys are preparing the Stipulated Decree to submit to the Court, which will be signed and entered, and will then be a matter of public record.”
What led to Dos Santos Lima and Johnson’s divorce?
Dos Santos Lima and Johnson first met over social media. They talked before meeting in Mexico. Enamored with his new girlfriend, Johnson proposed after only five days of being with Dos Santos Lima.

Though they did go through with the wedding, the couple’s tumultuous relationship never calmed down and just seven months after getting married, Johnson filed for divorce.
During the process, he also requested an injunction that would stop Dos Santos Lima from draining his bank account during the proceedings, according to The Blast.
In response, Dos Santos Lima requested that Johnson pay her $1,000
The two also got into several physical altercations. One of which resulted in Dos Santos Lima being charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, according to TMZ.
