90 Day Fiancé star Corey Rathgeber is not happy with Raul Cabrera. Villegas and Rathgeber were close with Cabrera in Ecaudor — Rathgeber had even mentioned that when he weds Villegas, he wants Cabrera to be his best man. 

Unfortunately, there’s been trouble in paradise. During the recent 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way tell-all episodes, Cabrera revealed that he has feelings for Evelin Villegas. Rathgeber was not happy, to say the least. Here’s what we know. 

Evelin Villegas says Corey Rathgeber wants fame 

Corey Rathgeber and 90 Day Fiancé alum Larissa Dos Santos Lima went out for a night on the town together in Las Vegas recently. Evelin Villegas was not happy with either of them. Villegas and Lima wound up duking it out on social media. 

What’s more, Villegas claimed that Rathgeber is desperate for fame and attention — and that’s the real reason behind his recent behavior. During an Instagram live session, Villegas said, “Corey is losing it with this show! I don’t even know who he is anymore. Like, he’s not that guy I met.”

“What he’s doing right now, to me, it’s just ridiculous. Because he left for the Tell All and he’s just been trying and trying to convince me to be on the second season [of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way]. He trying and trying to get to have more of this fame,” Villegas went on to claim.

It seems Rathgeber refused to stay with Villegas in Ecuador to watch the episodes. “And I was like, ‘Just stay here, stay here with me, let’s watch these episodes together.’  Because I know there’s going to be really hard on me. And I didn’t want to be alone to see all of this. But he just wanted the fame and he went [back to America] and just like — oh, I’m so upset,” she explained.

Raul Cabrera hooked up with Villegas, still has feelings

While Villegas is upset with Rathgeber, Rathgeber has had to come to terms with the fact that Raul Cabrera is battling feelings for Villegas. In fact, Cabrera and Villegas had a fling in which the two hooked up prior to Villegas seeing Rathgeber. 

Raul Cabrera revealed to the cameras that he still had feelings for Villegas after their fling together. He told the cameras, “Evelin is my crush and I will always love her. Maybe one day Evelin and I will be here together in Engabao and then everything is going to be fine.

The footage came from a while ago, and was unaired at the time. It was revealed during the tell-all. When Rathgeber asked Cabrera if he was still interested in Villegas, Cabrera said that Villegas is “the most beautiful girl” and “so kind.” He went on to add, “I don’t know. I think I’ll always admire her.”

Corey Rathgeber is not happy with Raul Cabrera

Rathgeber was not happy to learn that Cabrera still had feelings for Villegas. Naturally, this had a big impact on their relationship as friends. Rathgeber has since said that his friendship with Cabrera is effectively over. 

“I’m sick of people asking me about Raul and Evelin. I have not seen or spoken with him since the Tell All,” explained Rathgeber in an Instagram story. 

He added, “I do not trust him! What he has done to me is not okay and it has broken our friendship. I will not be speaking on this topic until after me and Raul speak face to face!”

Cabrera had also said that he didn’t expect Rathgeber to last long in Ecuador, and that he’d been hoping for a chance with Villegas should Rathgeber fail.
