’90 Day Fiancé’: Darcey Silva May Have Already Ended Her Engagement to Georgi Rusev
Darcey Silva is engaged…or she was. Last month, the 90 Day Fiancé star announced her engagement to boyfriend Georgi Rusev and fans thought that she had finally found love. But now, there seems to be some trouble in paradise. A cryptic comment by Silva on Instagram has fans wondering whether she and Rusev have already called it quits.
Darcey Silva took a long time finding Georgi Rusev
Silva has had a rough journey with finding love. In seasons 1 and 2 of Before the 90 Days, she was dating Dutch fitness instructor Jesse Meester. The two constantly argued and were clearly not a good match. In seasons 3 and 4 of the show, she moved on to British businessman Tom Brooks, who led her on and told her that she had gained weight. Neither was a great fit for Silva and she has been happy to get rid of them both and find someone new.
“Honestly, I am really, really happy in my life right now,” she recently told Entertainment Tonight. “I felt like I’ve moved on from the past, taking time to heal myself inside and out, and I was ready for love again. I have an open heart and he’s an amazing guy. He’s someone who has a different demeanor than the last two, thank God. For me, I feel like I get to honor myself and say what I want in a relationship. He’s very patient with me, calm and so understanding and we have a lot of fun. I mean, let alone, he’s a hot, sexy Bulgarian guy, who wouldn’t want that?”
Though the couple went public with their engagement in October, they had actually been engaged since June but had to keep it under wraps.
“I still feel newly engaged,” Silva recently told People. “I haven’t been able to really celebrate it yet with everybody. I want to be able to shout it to the world. It was definitely a total surprise for me. Georgi and I have a very deep connection, and I feel like in that moment I was not expecting it at all.”
At the time, both Silva and Rusev told the outlet that they were feeling very sure about the relationship.
“The most important [thing] is we understand each other and we have each other’s backs,” Rusev said. “We feel very secure with each other.”
“I’ve always wanted a partner in life where you can raise each other up and not shoot each other down. I decided the next relationship I got in, I would say what I want,” says Silva. “We’re able in the end to work it all out, rise above and stay strong for the love that we know we share because our future is so great.”
Is the engagement over?
Recently, Rusev posted a picture of him and Silva’s first date and she left some cryptic comments on the post.
“Well body language tells all,” she wrote in a comment captured by Soap Dirt. “I tried and rather not be in this picture.
Later, she added another, even more telling comment.
“Please, take me off your page. Thank you,” she wrote.
The picture has since been deleted and neither Silva nor Rusev have made any further comments.
