’90 Day Fiancé’: Fans Are Confused by Natalie’s Latest Post About Mike and Body Image

Natalie Mordovtseva and Mike Youngquist, stars of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé Season 7, seemed to have a rocky relationship on the show (to say the least). Mike and Natalie struggled with Natalie’s immediate desire for kids, Mike’s secret credit card debt, trust issues, exes, and even major religious and cultural differences

But on social media, Mike and Natalie are even more confusing for many 90 Day Fiancé viewers. Both TLC stars recently started Instagram accounts, but the couple wasn’t exactly sweet and romantic with one another…at least not all the time. In fact, Natalie publicly accused Mike of insulting her looks and comparing her unfavorably to a certain luxury car, leaving fans scratching their heads.

Natalie called Mike out on Instagram for allegedly insulting her body

While Mike’s recently-launched Instagram account featured a cute video of his Ukrainian bride-to-be jumping into his arms in a park, Natalie’s was dedicated more to modeling shots. But under one photo she posted in Dec. 2019 of the couple looking cozy and comfortable on a park bench, things got a little strange.

Mike gushed about the cute couple’s photo, commenting, “Look at my perfect little lady. Perfect picture of us to show [our] love for one another.”

But Natalie wasn’t buying it and wrote to the 90 Day Fiancé star, “Why don’t you tell people what you say to me behind the stage? That I’m not your taste, how you say it? ‘Not a Ferrari.’ How your jokes about my body and my health put me down… Is this what man who loves do?”

It seemed to many 90 Day Fiancé fans that Mike had put Natalie down behind the scenes, even saying she wasn’t exactly his type or could look a bit better.

Another snapshot escalated the drama

The 90 Day Fiancé couple’s Instagram interactions got even weirder from there.

On Natalie’s now-private Instagram account, she uploaded glam holiday photos of herself in a sleek satin dress with a Christmas tree in the background. Once again, Mike complimented his fiancee, writing: “Most amazing picture of you ever. What a beautiful Christmas picture of you my love. You are absolutely one of a kind in this universe love you.”

Natalie clapped back sarcastically, “You mean I’m a Ferrari now?”

Mike, seemingly nonplussed, wrote back, “Yes you are my Ferrari girl. Look at you go girl. Room room,” (meaning “vroom vroom”).

Then, the 90 Day Fiancé star took it even further, uploading another photo of herself and referencing Mike’s alleged behind-the-scenes insults about her body. “Step 1,” she wrote next to the photo, captioning it with “girl power” and “ferrari” in a sassy reference to Mike’s remarks.

‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans were confused by the newest post

90 Day Fiancé fans were bewildered by Natalie’s and Mike’s comments. Many wondered if the couple was putting on a show or just joking around. Others defended Natalie against body-shaming, like one Instagram user who raved, “You deserve WAY better than this weirdo! And yes you are a Ferrari girl!”

Others were simply confused. One commenter wrote, “I don’t understand this,” advising Natalie to keep her problems with her fiance a little more discreet.

In another post, Natalie didn’t seem to be completely over the debacle. Alongside a photo of herself, Natalie once again pushed back against Mike’s supposed negative comments towards her, while suggesting that men’s expectations for women are too high.

“Hello my gorgeous followers,” she wrote in the caption. “I mean a beautiful part of this planet – WOMEN…I have a question to be asked: Don’t you, girls, think that men put [too] much expectation on us? We’re expected to be educated, successful, smart, funny, well mannered, good mothers, good house[wives] and look like a Ferrari (with the list, that never ends).”

The 90 Day Fiancé star added that they were in a constant “race” with “no winners” and that she wanted to stop competing with other women.

Although many were still confused by what exactly the series of posts meant, many 90 Day Fiancé viewers flocked to Natalie’s side to support her. “Yes, so true,” one wrote. “Find someone who loves you just the way you are. You deserve it! You have a lot to offer.”
