’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Call Elizabeth’s Family ‘Pot Stirrers’ Who Should Remember Their Own ‘Slew of Charges’ Before Judging Andrei

Elizabeth and Andrei Castravet are in Moldova with their families on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. But Elizabeth’s dad, Chuck Potthast, and brother, Charlie Potthast seem to believe Andrei is hiding details about his past life in Moldova, and they won’t stop grilling him about it.

In a sneak peek, after Elizabeth’s sister Jen joins the family in Moldova, they make a plan to get Andrei’s friend Marcel drunk to get more information. But fans are not buying their “holier than thou” attitude, and some are calling Elizabeth’s family “pot stirrers” who should consider their own questionable pasts before judging Andrei for anything.

’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ stars Andrei and Elizabeth

What happened between Elizabeth’s family and Andrei on ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’

Andrei and Elizabeth’s family have never really seen eye to eye. And on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, they’re bringing the fight to Moldova.

For some reason, Chuck and Charlie think Andrei left Moldova under suspicious circumstances. And they also continue to push the idea that Andrei only married Elizabeth for a green card.

When Chuck and Charlie sit down with Andrei’s friends and family for dinner, they start raising questions about Andrei’s past, which leads to a heated exchange between Andrei and his in-laws. Elizabeth is stuck in the middle, but she reprimands her husband for being rude to her family. Andrei blames some of his anger on the alcohol, and the rest on her family’s “provocative” questions, but he ultimately apologizes for his behavior.

However, when Elizabeth’s mom, Pam, and sister, Jen, arrive in Moldova a few days later, Chuck and Charlie tell them that Andrei was entirely at fault for the altercation, and they convince them that he has something hide.

The family then hatches a plan to get Marcel drunk and squeeze him for details about Andrei’s life. “I think we should feed him some drinks and get the truth,” Jen suggests.

“I’m really curious to find out why Marcel and Andrei moved to Ireland,” Chuck adds in a confessional. “He has a lot more to tell us.”

Elizabeth’s family has a reportedly questionable past

As reported by Starcasm, Elizabeth’s family has had various run-ins with the law themselves. In 2009, Chuck was arrested because he failed to pay $17,564 in child support.

Charlie was arrested in 2005 for a DUI and driving on a suspended license. And a year later, he was arrested for the possession of cocaine.

Jen was arrested in 2005 for driving on a revoked/suspended license. And in 2008, her other sister, Becky, was also arrested for driving without a license.

And aside from the arrests, the family business, CDC Capital Investments LLC, has received consumer complaints about renting foreclosed properties and evicting residents without enough notice.

’90 Day Fiancé’ fans call Elizabeth’s family ‘pot stirrers’

After watching Elizabeth’s family grill Andrei about his past on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, fans are calling them out for the hypocrisy. Some are calling them “pot stirrers” who should consider their own rap sheets before talking down to Andrei.

“I think her whole family are pot stirrers,” a Reddit user wrote. “Also, let’s not forget they have a slew of charges themselves so why do they care so much what Andrei did in the past?!”

“Mr holier than thou has a rap sheet,” another Redditor wrote, referring to Chuck. “I wonder whose is longer his or Andrei’s [sic]?”

As the season continues, fans are waiting to see if this family drama will carry over into Andrei and Elizabeth’s wedding. Hopefully, the couple will get to enjoy their big day without any issues.
