’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Slam Geoffrey Paschel’s Coronavirus Post
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans already take umbrage with Geoffrey Paschel and his appearance on TLC’s franchise, given his criminal history. Now, it seems as though they may have more reason than ever to feel negatively about the reality star. Paschel recently took to Instagram to share a photo of the various paper products he’d hoarded in preparation for the coronavirus outbreak, and fans are not amused with his antics.
Geoffrey Paschel poses with toilet paper, fans react
When coronavirus began to spread more aggressively in the United States, many folks began stocking up on a variety of goods. For whatever reason, many people bought huge amounts of toilet paper, with stores experiencing shortages as a result.
Some hoarders took this to the next level, and began selling their excess supplies online at wildly inflated prices for those who missed out. It seems as if Geoffrey Paschel was one of the individuals who was able to stock up, if his Instagram is anything to go by.
Paschel recently posted a photo of himself sitting on a throne made out of toilet paper, paper towels, and Corona beer while smoking a cigar. While some commenters found it amusing, others were not too pleased.
One Instagram user wrote, “I still have to work. Single mom. No support. No toilet paper and you sit on it making jokes. Unreal.”
A Reddit user commented, “All this toilet paper and still not enough to wipe away the sh*t stain that is this man’s existence.”
“Giving us more reasons to dislike him,” pointed out another 90 Day Fiancé fan.
The ‘90 Day Fiancé star has a checkered past
It might seem odd at first that Geoffrey Paschel receives this much hate from some fans of 90 Day Fiancé. However, it is partially explained by the accusations that have been levied against Paschel in the past.
In June of 2019, Geoffrey Paschel was arrested when his ex-girlfriend claimed that he had attacked her. She explained to police, “He repeatedly bashed/slammed my head into the hardwood floors of my home. He dragged me through the house by my hair and continued throwing my body into walls and furniture. I know this because of blood on my walls, furniture, etc.”
Police records supported his ex-girlfriend’s claims. Officers “observed a large raised bruise on [her] forehead and abrasions on her elbows and knees.” She was also found to have a concussion.
The 90 Day Fiancé star’s ex-girlfriend also claimed that Paschel disabled her phone to prevent her from calling for help. She had to escape to a neighbor’s house to dial 911 in order to report Paschel’s attack.
Paschel has also spent 30 months in prison for dealing drugs, and in 2018 an ex filed for a protective order against him, claiming that he was using his children as drug mules.
Some fans want Geoffrey Paschel removed from the show
Since Geoffrey Paschel’s past has been made more public, some fans have been working to try and have him removed from 90 Day Fiancé.
Some fans have been signing a Change.org petition that aims to remove Paschel. The petition reads, in part, “Geoffrey Paschel is on the currently airing TLC show 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. This petition is to remove him from the show and have him appear on no further shows due to current allegations and criminal charges made against him. We would also like to make advertisers aware of what they are supporting, and hope to see that your companies will not stand for promoting such atrocities as these.”
