’90 Day Fiancé’: If Babygirl Lisa Hamme Can’t Get Pregnant Usman Umar Will ‘Take a Second Wife’
Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar are one of the more controversial 90 Day Fiancé couples. They’ve been plagued with cheating rumors and now, most recently, Lisa’s been in hot water for calling her husband the N-word.
In an interview she did with The Domenick Nati Show on May 22, she spoke about what she wishes the 90 Day Fiancé audience saw more of.
“Usman and I have been together three years. We’ll be married a year in August,” she said.
Lisa felt the show didn’t accurately portray the length and depth of her relationship with Usman. Though they’re not physically in the same place right now, they’re still married and even talking about having children.
When Usman would ‘take a second wife,’ according to Babygirl Lisa
“As far as children, we’re definitely going to try. And if it does not happen, in Nigeria he is entitled to take four wives,” she said. But Babygirl Lisa wants people to know that if Usman marries another woman, she will always carry “the highest title” as the first wife.
“People don’t understand the complete law of that. I am the first wife. I carry the highest title. The second, third, fourth, are below,” she said.
Additionally, Lisa says that Usman can’t marry another woman until he can completely financially take care of her.
“So he may take a second wife so long as he can take care of my house, my bills, and I live comfortably. I don’t have to pay for anything, he has to pay for it all before he can take a second wife,” she said.
Lisa continued: “Before he could even take a second wife he has to be able to provide for me everything–we’re talking a house, car, insurance, utility bills. People don’t get that part of it. So for him to take a second wife if we cannot conceive, he has to be able to financially stand ground that he’s able to take care of two households.”
Babygirl Lisa says she always knew Usman might marry another woman
Lisa wants to assure 90 Day Fiancé fans that she’s always known about the possibility of Usman marrying another woman.
“It’s part of the culture and I knew that since we’ve been together three years. It’s not like I met him 30 days ago and went to Nigeria and said, ‘Oh I’m in love with Soja Boy, I’m gonna marry this local celebrity.’ It was nothing like that. I knew him for three years. This was something that I already knew what was coming. But the show and the fans blow it up. So, it’s OK. Take a deep breath. I know what’s coming,” she said.
