90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima recently broke up with her now ex-boyfriend, Eric Nichols. For Nichols, this seemed to be something of a surprise. It appeared as if Lima broke up with him via Instagram, of all places. 

Eric Nichols discovered he’d been dumped when his mother called him to ask if he was okay — obviously not how anyone wants to learn they’re now single. However, it seems like Nichols saved a few receipts and wants to share them with everyone else following his breakup. Now, Colt Johnson seems to have his back. 

Dumped via Instagram 

It wasn’t until his mother called him that Eric Nichols found out he’d been dumped. In a very public move, 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima posted what she called a “Breakup Note” to her Instagram, detailing her split from her then-boyfriend. 

She wrote, “There is no hard feelings or regrettees [sic], but I need to look in my own soul and focus on being the best Larissa I can be.” She added, “I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in relationship with Erickee [sic] but I know now I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars.”

Lima added, “I not sure what will come of the future but I am excited for it. I look forward to this time in my life as a reflection on my own personal dreamees [sic] and goals I set to do. Thank you for all your love, strength and support to me always.”

This came as a surprise to Nichols. Lima claims she texted him and didn’t get a reply, which is when she decided to make their breakup public on Instagram. Bizarre move, but okay. 

The Colorado trip

Now, Nichols is saying the 90 Day Fiancé star broke up with him over a trip they’d been planning. According to Nichols, the couple had been planning on flying to Colorado to meet Nichols’ family. Lima herself had been posting about it on her Instagram. 

He shared a picture of his flight info and said he received a DM from Lima, who angrily claimed he didn’t invite her. Nichols was confused since they’d been discussing the trip for a while already. 

Nichols said he then went to have a shower and show his house to a potential new tenant, and that’s when Lima dumped him on Instagram. Nichols added a long post to Instagram, detailing his side of the story. Colt Johnson shared the post, adding, “The truth shall set you free. Good luck Eric.”

It’s likely that Colt Johnson feels somewhat validated by this, given that he claims Lima has lied about him online many times — including her claims that Johnson canceled her health insurance. 

Dealing with depression

Meanwhile, Larissa Dos Santos Lima says she’s been suffering from depression and anxiety since her first domestic violence arrest in 2018. 

Lima shared in an Instagram post, “I was devastated, emotionally exhausted, and my entire body ached from depression.” Lima further wrote, “Sometimes, I was filmed while being on pain killers. I couldn’t move, do basic activities, or take care of myself.”

The 90 Day Fiancé star went on to add, “I now see that my being [arrested] was a blessing, as l have the knowledge now to give back in a way that would not [have] been possible if it didn’t happen to me.”
