It looks like one of the 90 Day Fiancé stars is moving on to a very different type of show. Evelyn Cormier from Season 5 is still pursuing her singing career and will be on Season 2 of American Idol on ABC. Find out more and what she has been up to since the reality show.

Evelyn Cormier revealed on Instagram that she’ll be on American Idol

The 90 Day Fiancé star is moving on to another reality show. She posted a video promoting the premiere of the new season with the caption, ”
une-in March 3rd to watch my Idol journey begin and find out what happens next! @americanidol#americanidol #thenextidol.”

This isn’t the first time she mentioned auditioning for the new season. She previously posted a picture of her drinking coffee with her number to audition for the show on Instagram.

She already has some of her music on YouTube

Cormier talked about pursuing music when she was on 90 Day Fiancé so it’s probably no surprise to fans that she would audition for the show. She has some of her work on YouTube and she has a music video for “Nickels and Dimes.” She more recently came out with a single called “Yard Sale Guitar.”

The singer also created a Patreon membership subscription service in order to further her music career. The description of the service read according to Starcasm, “There are many benefits to being an independent musician, such as control of the content of my music and videos, owning all of my music, collaborating with my favorite musicians, and choosing my tour dates and venues but there are downsides as well. The biggest downside is all the funding for new music projects fall onto my shoulders.”

One of the services offered to help fund those things was a private concert with Cormier herself if you give $1,000 per month.

Cormier and David Vázquez Zermeño are still together

Cormier and David Vázquez Zermeño appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé. She was 18 from Claremont, NH and Vázquez Zermeño was 27 from Granada, Spain. They were engaged and their age difference and the timeline of when they met led to some controversy.

Vázquez Zermeño posted a photo of Boston, MA in 2016, according to In Touch Weekly. But the show made it seem like he never went to New Hampshire before he was on the show in 2017. This made people wonder if the two were really talking for years and when Cormier was underage. Fans also took screenshots of them talking on social media when she would have been 15 years old.

The show seemed vague around the couple past. When they met in the airport the two were very excited to see each other. “It’s amazing to be together, it’s surreal,” Cormier said. “We haven’t even been together for ten minutes.” Vázquez Zermeño said “I am very excited to experience life in America. I’ve heard it’s very different.”

The two got married in Boston in October 2017 and are still married. Vázquez Zermeño wasn’t happy about living in a small town on the show but maybe they’ll move if Cormier is still pursuing a singing career.
