’90 Day Fiancé’: Tania Maduro Reveals the Night She and Syngin Colchester Didn’t Allow TLC to Film

Tania Maduro and Syngin Colchester are currently appearing on the fifth season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After—and they have more than a few challenges facing them in their first few months of marriage. In addition to Syngin’s possibly excessive drinking, the couple is dealing with the aftermath of Tania’s car accident, as well as difficulties finding steady work.

But, ever since Tania and Syngin first appeared on the seventh season of 90 Day Fiancé, Tania has always shown a different side to the couple (and even pushed back against TLC’s portrayal) on social media. Recently, she has shared behind-the-scenes photos of filming, as well as plenty of current pictures that reveal the pair is still going strong about a year after marriage.

Tania recently took to Instagram to share some snapshots of the wild night she and her South African husband didn’t allow TLC to film: the couple’s joint bachelor/ette party, just before their wedding.

Syngin and Tania looked like they were having a ball in their joint bachelor/ette party photos

Tania recently shared two photos of her joint bachelor and bachelorette party with Syngin on Instagram. The couple looked like they were having a blast (and plenty of drinks) in the photos, in which they seemed to share a sultry embrace and dance with abandon. Syngin even donned a glittery “Bride Tribe” shirt for the occasion.

Tania and Syngin had an unconventional wedding from start to finish—from the bride’s offbeat, full-length black wedding gown to a shared live tattooing session during the ceremony. So it’s no surprise that the free-spirited couple defied tradition for their bachelor/ette party as well.

“TBT to our bachelor(ette) party!” the 90 Day Fiancé star wrote in her Instagram caption. “The film crew was kinda mad we wouldn’t let them film it, but we wanted to have some fun without them and the pressure of filming. Thank you to my besties for throwing an epic party night!!!!” She added hashtags like “need to do it again” and “pure fun” to express her nostalgia for the celebration.

’90 Day Fiancé’ fans chimed in to comment on how fun the couple’s big night looked

90 Day Fiancé fans immediately jumped into the Instagram comments to praise Syngin and Tania for having such a fun, unconventional bachelor/ette party together—and to congratulate them on reaching nearly a year of marriage.

“Get you someone who dances with you like Syngin dances with Tania,” one Instagram user wrote, adding that the pair was #couplegoals.

“Y’all was turnt up!” another fan joked. Tania agreed, writing back, “All the way!”

Even Tania’s friends remembered the evening as an incredible one. “Honestly one of the funnest nights of my life,” one commented. Another agreed, “Seriously will go down as one of the funnest nights for me too! Who knew a Monday night could be soooo poppin.”

Other viewers praised Tania and Syngin for ‘setting boundaries’ with TLC

Several 90 Day Fiancé viewers commented that they respected the couple for sticking to their guns and not allowing TLC producers to film every moment of their lives.

“Good for you guys for setting boundaries,” one Instagram user wrote in support of the pair’s decision. “I couldn’t imagine cameras in my face days before my wedding- sh*t was stressful!”

Another fan agreed that not everything was meant to be captured on reality TV. “Not all things need to be caught on camera (although that’s what you signed up for 😉),” they argued. “They got over it.” Added another, “Respect for that decision.”

One 90 Day Fiancé viewer wrote similarly, “Love this! So happy y’all were able to have the time of your lives without it being filmed!”

Still, a few commenters just wished they’d been able to see what had clearly been a raucous night. “Damn, I wish they were able to film hahaha,” one fan admitted.
