90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After star Larissa Dos Santos Lima moved to her ex-husband Colt Johnson’s hometown of Las Vegas when she married him in 2018. But after her divorce and various legal battles, the reality star admitted she was facing deportation. And just recently, Larissa revealed why she is leaving Las Vegas and her life behind.

How ’90 Day Fiancé’ star Larissa Lima ended up in Las Vegas

Colt and Larissa were first introduced on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple connected over social media, and then met up in Cancun, Mexico. They got engaged within five days of meeting each other, and Colt then applied for Larissa to come to the United States from her home country of Brazil on a 90-day K-1 fiancé visa. 

When her visa was approved, Larissa flew into Colt’s hometown of Las Vegas, where she moved in with him and his mother, Debbie. The two were married for six months before filing for divorce. During their marriage, Colt had Larissa arrested three times for domestic violence.

Larissa faced deportation after her divorce

On this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Larissa revealed that Colt is no longer supporting her immigration to the United States. She says that he rescinded parts of her application and that she now faces deportation. 

“Colt canceled my Affidavit of Support, he canceled my green card,” Larissa says in the premiere episode. “[It] means that I have to find another way to stay here. I have no idea what’s going to happen to me. And I’m very scared to be arrested again and be deported forever. “

Larissa also reveals that she is trying to find ways to stay in the country. She says her American dream is to become rich so she can provide for her family, including her two children, who are still living in Brazil. And in a recent Instagram Q & A session with fans, Larissa noted that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to be successful.

“My goal is to be a billionaire, a millionaire, a trillionaire,” Larissa said in her Instagram story. “I don’t care what I do, I care about all the hustle. To send to my family, my kids, to have a good life.”

Larissa reveals why she’s leaving Las Vegas

After her divorce from Colt, Larissa managed to create a new life for herself in Las Vegas. On  90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, she introduces a number of new friends, as well as her new boyfriend, Eric Nichols. But in a recent Instagram post, the reality star announced that she is planning to move out of Las Vegas, and is going to leave her past life behind.

“For every one that always asked if I would live in another state, Vegas was my home for almost two years, but now its time for a new begging [sic] in a different state,” Larissa says in the post.  “I still love Vegas and will miss all my friends, partners, and pools. I’m very happy to this choice and the opportunity to start again and left my past buried definitely on the desert sands. Very excited for this new chapter.”

It’s unclear which state Larissa is moving to, and she hasn’t revealed any information about what her exact plans are. But Eric also shared a post about moving out of Las Vegas on his Facebook page, which could indicate the two are moving out of the state together.
