’90 Day Fiancé’: This Star Kicked His Own Teenage Daughter Out of His Apartment For His Fiancé
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé have surely seen their fair share of questionable choices on the show. Certainly there are people who make snap decisions regarding their relationships, and sometimes these decisions are highly controversial. Leida Margaretha and Eric Rosenbrook are two of the most infamous 90 Day Fiancé stars, thanks to the choices they made on the show. When Eric and Leida decided to kick Eric’s then-teenage daughter out of his home, it rapidly sent them to the top of the 90 Day Fiancé most-hated list. In fact, they’re so disliked that they’ve received death threats.
Leida and Eric kick out Tasha
When Leida first moved in with her 90 Day Fiancé co-star, she was not at all happy. The apartment was rather messy, and Eric blamed it on his daughter, Tasha. Leida started to push for Eric to kick Tasha out of the apartment. At first, Eric tried to turn Leida around on how Americans feel about family.
During an episode, Eric told Leida, “In America, family is what matters. And it’s everybody, even kids from a different marriage.”
“Then I don’t want to get married then!” replied Leida. Apparently this argument worked on Eric, because it wasn’t long before he kicked his then-teenage daughter out of the apartment. Pretty ironic that he’d just given Leida a speech on how important family is to American values.
To top that off, Leida had been pushing for Eric to stop paying child support. Eric has three children from his previous marriage, including Tasha. “I don’t get money from my previous husband for the child support,” said Leida on the show. “So it doesn’t make any sense to me for Eric to be sending money every month, so this thing needs to stop.”
Leida gets a restraining order
Eventually, the fighting between Tasha and Leida got so bad that Leida decided to file for a restraining order. For whatever reason, Eric decided to help Leida fill out the paperwork against his own daughter, who he’d just kicked out of the apartment.
“Yes, I did fill it out. Only because she didn’t know what to do, not because I agreed with the choice to file it,” Eric told In Touch.
It doesn’t seem as if Eric feels too much remorse for what’s happened to Tasha. “Tasha’s own behavior during the hearing was the primary driving factor in the judge granting the restraining order,” Eric told In Touch. “Jan has apparently claimed that Tasha got railroaded, but in fact, her attitude, words and expressions in the courtroom was the determining factor in the [four] years being granted.”
The couple received death threats
As a result of their choices, the couple quickly became hated by many 90 Day Fiancé viewers. Unfortunately, this allegedly resulted in Leida and Eric receiving death threats, including some that Leida claims have been targeted at her son, Alesasndro.
In a deleted Instagram video, Leida addressed the death threats. “We put our lives in danger. We put our lives on the frontline. This is not fair. This is not worth it all. We are never going to do this again. … I swear to God, once the contract is done, we will reveal everything that they didn’t on the show.”
The couple decided to leave 90 Day Fiancé as a result of the death threats. “No, we won’t be on the next season. We will deal everything on our own. … Death threats are not acceptable under any circumstances. If I made those death threats by myself I wouldn’t let the authorities involved. Whoever says, ‘Boohoo Leida, this is on you’ … I pray you will never experience the same way like I have … My son doesn’t deserve to be killed or kidnapped. I keep it real. I never lie. I value honesty and I hope it will help me at the court later,” explained Leida.
