90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson has seen more than her fair share of ups and downs during her time on the show. From falling in love with Jay Smith, to getting married, to realizing he was cheating on her, the relationship was a wild ride, to say the least.
Add to that the fact that Smith violated a Protection From Abuse order, was detained by ICE, and is now dating someone else, and may have gotten her pregnant, it’s easy to see why Martson may be exhausted by the whole ordeal.

Ashley Martson and Jay Smith were married in Las Vegas, but that didn’t stop Smith from branching out on Tinder. Shortly after tying the knot, Martson caught Smith chatting up women on the dating service. She filed for divorce, but soon rescinded the paperwork, deciding to give their 90 Day Fiancé marriage another shot.
Unfortunately for Martson, it wasn’t meant to be. Smith wound up cheating on her at his workplace, having sex with a woman in the bathroom. Martson had a phone call with the woman, which revealed to her that Smith had never even mentioned he was married.
The two are now going through the motions of divorce, but Martson has claimed that Smith refuses to sign the paperwork.
To make matters worse, Smith was recently detained by ICE, putting both himself and Martson back in the spotlight. Martson took out a Protection From Abuse order against Smith, who had trespassed on her property while she was away. The order required that Smith refrain from discussing Martson as well as the PFA on social media — a requirement he immediately violated via Instagram.
A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he turned himself in, winding up in ICE detention. Martson told Us Weekly, “ICE had contacted me the day before I did the PFA and said that they were coming. … The PFA and the violation just got him arrested basically two days earlier than what he would have been.”
The typical ‘90 Day Fiancé’ salary
People who appear on 90 Day Fiancé certainly enjoy a large degree of public exposure, but it seems as if the show itself doesn’t pay a particularly large salary.
According to Nikki Cooper, a friend of David Toborowsky who appeared on 90 Day Fiancé Season 5, the cast members earn roughly $1,000 per episode and an additional $2,500 for the tell-all.
90 Day Fiancé is apparently even stingy when it comes to production costs. Cooper claims that the crew requested to use their home, but only offered $100 to help clean the house after dirtying it up.

Ashley Martson hasn’t allowed the low payoff from 90 Day Fiancé to stop her, however. The reality star has been hustling on the side to make money off of her newfound fame. Martson has worked as a model and frequently promotes products on her Instagram account to increase her income.
The 90 Day Fiancé star often promotes products like Boom Bod weight loss drinks and Tanceuticals self-tanner. How ever you might feel about the efficacy of such products, props to Martson for taking advantage of her fame.
According to The Richest, Martson’s net worth sits at around $600,000, but we wouldn’t be surprised if that number goes up following all of her recent drama with Jay Smith.
