’90 Day Fiancé’: What Was Darcey Silva’s Ex Doing at the Season 7 Reunion?

Darcey Silva has appeared on all three seasons of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with two different partners. First, Silva had a tumultuous relationship with Jesse Meester from the Netherlands. Next, Silva dated British boyfriend Tom Brooks before they broke things off as well.

Now, it seems that Brooks might be zeroing in on Silva’s TLC territory and making friends with the rest of the 90 Day Fiancé cast. Brooks recently hung out with the Season 7 cast of 90 Day Fiancé after the Tell-All taping, particularly buddying up with Tania Maduro’s South African fiance Syngin Colchester.

Brooks spent time with Syngin Colchester at the Season 7 reunion

Things might not have worked out with Silva, but it doesn’t look like Brooks will be turning away from his other 90 Day Fiancé castmates any time soon. On Dec. 7, Brooks took to Instagram to share photos of himself with Syngin Colchester, a 29-year-old bartender from South Africa who is (or at least was) engaged to Tania Maduro of Connecticut.

The two men posed and hugged in a series of funny pictures, while Brooks added the caption, “Getting to know new people and gaining new friends is one of life’s greatest pleasures.” The 90 Day Fiancé star added that he had a “bromance” with Colchester. The South Africa native also jokingly twerked in Brooks’ Instagram stories.

On Brooks’ Instagram stories, he shared pictures and videos with the rest of the cast as well. Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio looked cozy, while other Season 7 90 Day Fiancé couples, including Emily Larina and Sasha Larin and Mursel Mistanoglu and Anna Campisi, posed for friendly photos with Silva’s ex.

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ star is currently living it up in NYC

Tom Brooks certainly appears to be making the most of his newfound 90 Day Fiancé fame with brand partnerships, events, and travel. Since his breakup with Silva, he’s traveled to the U.S. and Canada making appearances and hosting meetups. He hosted a meet and greet for fans at the Hotel Chantelle on the Lower East Side of NYC on Dec. 7, for example.

Brooks also took the time to meet up with Silva’s previous ex, Jesse Meester, at a cafe in Columbus Circle. A fan snapped a photo of the two having a drink and, presumably, talking about their shared ex. Meester later claimed that both he and Brooks were “manipulated” by Silva, while Brooks in turn said that Meester was a “good guy.”

Some ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans think Silva’s ex is trying to become an influencer

When Brooks first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé, he scandalized fans with what were believed to be faked photos of his luxury lifestyle.

The Instagram account @fraudedbytlc exposed the fact that Brooks was allegedly stealing others’ pictures of everything from high-end desserts to designer fragrances to pretend he was living the high life. Brooks denied the claims, saying he was just sharing photos of things he liked.

But all this publicity, as well as Brooks’ growing closeness with 90 Day Fiancé cast members, makes some TLC fans think Silva’s ex is trying to make more of a name for himself with brand partnerships or within the industry.
