’90 Day Fiancé’: What’s the Deal With the Feud Between Colt Johnson and Chantel and Pedro
Things got hairy during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? tell all. Perhaps that’s not surprising, given the incredible amount of drama swirling around the involved parties lately. Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno are always wrapped up in something, and with The Family Chantel recently making its debut, perhaps we should expect more drama than ever. It doesn’t help that Chantel recently called her marriage to Pedro a “scam.”
Meanwhile, Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou still haven’t tied the knot amid yet another canceled trip, and fans continue to wonder if Azan Tefou is really in love with Nafziger at all. Finally, you’ve got Colt Johnson and Larissa Santos Lima — a couple who seems to be mid-separation after various issues with domestic violence and the police.
Throw all of that tension together with Colt Johnson’s sarcasm and Pedro and Chantel’s short fuses, and it’s no wonder that things blew up.
Colt and Larissa dish on their marriage
Colt and Larissa were one of the more dramatic and tumultuous 90 Day Fiancé relationships, alongside his aforementioned co-stars. The couple had more than their fair share of ups-and-downs — and frankly, it was mostly downs.
Colt Johnson and his mother had a particularly close bond, and that often seemed to get in the way of Colt’s relationship with Larissa. Colt eventually called the police on Larissa, citing domestic violence and claiming she punched him and scratched him. Since then, the couple has been separated.
During the tell-all, the couples discussed the question of whether or not they had ever removed their rings in anger. Larissa said she flushed hers down the toilet, explaining, “I did it because it was what the marriage means to me.”
Colt claims hearing that injured him, adding, “Every time I tried to talk to her, she ignored me. But I wish I would’ve been more patient with Larissa. I don’t think it’s possible, but if Larissa and I could sit down and not argue and be understanding and patient, I guess I would want to get back with Larissa.”
Surprisingly, Larissa replied with, “Never say never!”
Nicole Nafziger says Colt was looking for a fight
According to 90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger, Colt Johnson came into the tell-all with a totally foul attitude.
“He was being a jerk before we all sat down. He was asking each couple a rude question. Like he asked me if my relationship was even real? Is that really the first thing you ask someone?” said Nafziger.
The 90 Day Fiancé star went on to add, “He wasn’t very nice to everyone. He came on defense and offense. He was rude.”
According to Nafziger, Chantel Everett’s eventual attack on Colt was well-warranted, “He came at her saying rude stuff, so she gave it back to him and then he cursed her out.”
Chantel, Pedro, and Colt blow up
Things went downhill quickly when Pedro decided to ask Colt how he and Larissa had ended up where they were today. Perhaps a surprising question coming from Pedro, who is in an infamously dramatic 90 Day Fiancé relationship.
Chantel followed up Pedro’s question by asking Colt if he was happier now, to which Colt replied, “Oh, yeah, I’m totally happy. I love going through a divorce. I love going through the stress and drama.” Probably not called for, Colt.
Chantel and Pedro immediately started arguing amongst themselves about divorce, because of course they did, and Colt decided to throw in, “Love is not enough. I’ve learned that the hard way.”
Apparently this was exactly the wrong thing to say to Chantel, because she fired back with, “Is it not? … Is it because you love your mama more than your ex-wife?”
Colt replied, “I love my mother. I take care of her. I’m the only family that she has. I’ll support her. And I hope to god that, one day, if one of your parents needs you, you’ll do the same. So please shut the f*ck up.”
Pedro told Colt, “No talk that way to my wife, OK?”
Pedro eventually pulled Chantel out of the room as the argument raged on.
