Fans of 90 Day Fiancé and its spinoffs have watched Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi’s journey for the last few years. It all started in season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days when Angela travels to Nigeria to meet Michael for the very first time.

However, on her return journey, Angela notices that almost every cent of her money has been taken from her bank account. It’s a stressful turn of events, and a scary situation for anyone to be in.

Angela returns home to Georgia, but when she tries to use her debit card, she realizes there isn’t any money left in the account. Back in Nigeria, a producer gets Michael’s attention, and it turns out that Angela wasn’t able to reach Michael, so she called the producer instead. The producer explains that Angela called him and that she wants to talk to him. Michael gets on the phone, and he gets a rude awakening.

“My bank account is empty,” Angela bluntly tells him. Michael asks, “How?” Angela explains that’s why she’s talking to him.

Apparently, Michael used Angela’s card at an ATM for her in Nigeria, and she says he was only supposed to take out a certain amount. “You were only supposed to withdraw no more than $300, right?” Angela questions him.

Angela goes on to explain that the bank is telling her that they took out three separate amounts of $300. Michael says that “can’t be,” but Angela says that she spoke to her bank on the phone, and that the situation occurred at the ATM.

“In Nigeria, using an ATM is a little confusing, so I gave Michael my bank card,” Angela tells the cameras. “At one point I told Michael to take out $300. My bank statement says Michael took out $900.”

She tells Michael that she’s “freaking out,” and says she has “no money” in her bank account. Michael says it “can’t be,” and he doesn’t seem to think it can be possible.

Angela’s money is missing, and Michael used her card at the ATM in question. Michael asks Angela what she’s “trying to say,” and asks, “You think I stole your money or what?”

Angela goes on to say that she’s asking him because he had the card. “Did you or did you not withdraw $300 three times?” she straight up asks him.

He asks why he would take her money. “Did you take out $900?” she asks again. Michael asks why he would take her money.

“Where is the god**** money?” Angela asks.

“This is like a nightmare, you know?” Angela tells the cameras. “I was worried about Michael using me to come to America, but to take my money out my bank account, how dare him.”

Michael says they need to “investigate” what’s going on, but Angela tells him to “go to f****** hell.” Angela hangs up the phone, and when the season ends, it’s unclear what’s going on.

But at the Tell All, Angela reveals it was actually a problem with the ATM. She says her bank “replaced” her money, and she doesn’t think Michael had anything to do with it.

It was a shocking moment in their relationship that made for great television though.
