’90 Day Fiancé’: Why Annie Suwan Got Eyelid Surgery
Annie Suwan and David Toborowsky are still together after their season of 90 Day Fiancé. Fans noticed that Suwan now looks different so the reality star opened up about getting eyelid surgery. Why did she decide to get it? Here is everything you need to know.
David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan recently were on a month-long vacation in Thailand
The married couple was first seen on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé. Before they got married, Toborowsky met Suwan when he was living in Thailand. She then went to America for them to get married.
There was a lot of drama between them because of money. Toborowsky struggled to find a job. Suwan had live with his friend, Chris Thieneman. She eventually moved out to live with Toborowsky in an apartment on top of a storage facility.
Things seem to be looking up for the couple. They recently were in Thailand to visit her family, according to Soap Dirt. One of their stops was to visit the water buffalo Toborowsky bought as part of her dowry.
The couple has also been seen on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk to talk about the newest episodes of Happily Ever After? Fans started questioning Suwan’s new look when the couple posted a video promoting the show.
Suwan confirmed she got eyelid surgery and is healing
Many fans noticed something was different about Toborowsky’s eyes. She took to Instagram to confirm that she got surgery.
One fan commented on an Instagram video of Annie and David together asking “What is wrong with Anniea eyes?” She replied, “I have an eyes surgery.”
The reality star replied to another fan who said she looked fabulous and talked about the healing process. She replied “thank you. I just need a couple months for my eyes to get back normal.”
Some fans still had the question as to why Suwan decided to get the procedure done. She addressed one assumption that was made about her decision.
She said she got the surgery to fix a problem
Surgeries like East Asian blepharoplasty or “double eyelid surgery” is all about reshaping the upper eyelid to include a crease. Suwan never confirmed whether this is the exact surgery she got, but some assumed it was and that her decision had to do with her race.
The reality star wrote that the surgery has nothing to do with her race. She got it to fix a problem.
“I had an eyes problem years ago and finally got it done [a] week ago,” she wrote back to a fan in the comments of her Instagram post. “I have an eyes problem and not thing to do with my Asian. Contrast for me, I think Asian eyes is [most] beautiful in the world,” she wrote.
Fans also went to David’s page to ask about the procedure. He wrote, “She had a problem that she wanted fixed.”
Suwan is hardly the only former star of 90 Day Fiancé to get work done on their face after the show. Ashley Martson revealed that she got lip fillers. Anfisa Nava also opened up about the plastic surgery she got and why she continues to get Botox.
