BTS debuted in 2013 and while they have released countless songs, some of their songs are universal fan favorites. The music video for their song “Fire” recently surpassed 600 million views on YouTube. “Fire” is not the only song with hundreds of million of views on YouTube. Based on YouTube views alone, these are BTS’s most popular music videos.

‘DNA’ has over 800 million views on YouTube

Without a doubt, “DNA” is BTS’s most popular music video to date. It currently has over 827 million views. BTS released the music video in September 2017. The song was part of BTS’s EP Love Yourself: Her and their 2018 compilation album, Love Yourself: Answer.

In January 2019, BTS became the first K-pop group to surpass 600 million views on a YouTube video with “DNA.” The song itself is also certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The music video is vibrant in color and features CGI images of the chemical structure of DNA molecules. The group also mimics the structure through choreography.

BTS released ‘Boy With Luv’ in April 2019

BTS released their recent EP Map of the Soul: Persona in April 2019. “Boy With Luv” is the lead single from the EP and features Halsey, an American singer. The music video became the most viewed online music video in 24 hours.

Currently, the music video has over 542 million views on YouTube after less than five months. Map of the Soul: Persona also sold over 4 million album copies worldwide. This milestone made BTS the first artists to sell over 4 million album copies in 2019.

‘Fake Love’ was one of BTS’s most anticipated songs

BTS released “Fake Love” with their album Love Yourself: Tear in May 2018. Before the music video dropped, BTS released two teaser videos of the individual members as a sneak peek. By the time the music video premiered, “Fake Love” was one of BTS’s most anticipated songs.

At the time, “Fake Love” had the third biggest 24 hour debut of all time. It also broke BTS’s previous record of most YouTube views within 24 hours with 35.9 million views. When the music video for “DNA” dropped, it earned 22.3 million views in 24 hours. “Fake Love” currently has over 586 million views on YouTube.

‘Mic Drop’ and ‘Idol’ both have close to 600 million views

Both the music videos for “Mic Drop” and “Idol” are close to reaching 600 million views on YouTube. The music video for “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” has over 555 million views. BTS released the music video in November 2017.

BTS released the music video for “Idol” in August 2018. Already, the video has over 539 million YouTube views. “Idol” is a lead single from BTS’s compilation album Love Yourself: Answer. Like “DNA,” the music video for “Idol” incorporates a lot of CGI. The choreography in the “Idol” music video is also some of the most difficult choreography BTS performs.

‘Fire’ became BTS’s second music video to surpass 600 million YouTube views

In September 2019, “Fire” became the second BTS music video to surpass 600 million views on YouTube. BTS released the song in 2016 with their compilation album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever. “Fire” is one of BTS’s most popular songs and often appears in their set list on tour.
