A Weird Twitter Troll Told Taylor Swift She’s Getting Too Old To Have Children–Here’s What Happened

Taylor Swift turns 30 in just a few days and her age has been a big topic of conversation as of late. Earlier this year, the popstar penned a piece for Elle titled “30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30.” The essay details lessons on self-confidence, self-preservation, friendship, and just how to be a grown-up.

She also wrote about society’s fixation on aging women.

“I’ve learned that society is constantly sending very loud messages to women that exhibiting the physical signs of aging is the worst thing that can happen to us,” she wrote.

“These messages tell women that we aren’t allowed to age. It’s an impossible standard to meet, and I’ve been loving how outspoken Jameela Jamil has been on this subject. Reading her words feels like hearing a voice of reason amongst all these loud messages out there telling women we’re supposed to defy gravity, time, and everything natural in order to achieve this bizarre goal of everlasting youth that isn’t even remotely required of men,” Swift continued.

Taylor Swift isn’t going to answer questions about her relationship

In May, Swift was interviewed by Deutsche Presse-Agentur. She was asked if she’s ready to take the next step in her relationship with Joe Alwyn.

“I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30. So I’m not going to answer that question now,” she replied, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.

Though Swift opted out of answering the question about her relationship with Alwyn, she did speak a little about getting older.

“I hear others say that one in his thirties no longer has as much stress and anxiety in life as in my twenties,” she said. “And I can join in the observation that we are in our twenties looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes.”

Chrissy Teigen calls out a Twitter user for pressuring Taylor Swift to have kids

On Dec 10, model Chrissy Teigen responded to a weird, forward tweet about Swift’s “eggs.”

“I can’t believe Taylor Swift is about to turn 30 – she still looks so young!” the tweet began. “It’s strange to think that 90% of her eggs are already gone – 97% by the time she turns 40 – so I hope she thinks about having kids before it’s too late! She’d be a fun mom. :)”

Teigen retweeted the message and wrote: “Uhhhh you’re a f*ckin weird a**.”

The responses Teigen received show that her following agrees that the twitter user is, indeed, a weird a**.

“unless you are eating breakfast with your wife, stop thinking about women’s eggs, stefan,” responded one Twitter user.

“How lovely to assess women in terms of the percentage of viable eggs. And really normal,” wrote another.

Teigen recently participated in a Twitter Q&A where she told her fans that she actually holds back on Twitter quite a bit.

“Do things ever happen that you wish you could tweet about but would get you into trouble if you did?” one person asked.

“Like 20 times a day,” Teigen responded.

Thankfully, it looks like the matter of Swift’s fertility is not a matter Teigen chose to bite her tongue on.
