Aaron Rodgers’ Ex-Girlfriend Has an Opinion on the Family Feud
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been feuding with his family for quite some time. His ex-girlfriend, Olivia Munn, weighed in on the conflict. Here’s what Aaron Rodger’s ex had to say about the family feud.
How the Aaron Rodgers family feud was uncovered
It was first revealed there was Rodgers family drama in 2016 when Aaron’s younger brother, Jordan, discussed it during JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette. He told Fletcher about the tension going on with his family:
I have a great relationship with my brother Luke. Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life and I’ve chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother. It’s not ideal and I love him and I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has, the demands from people that he has. Don’t have hard feelings against him, it’s just how things go right now.
Aaron wasn’t thrilled with the public revelation. In a 2016 interview with People, he expressed his thoughts on the issue: “As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just—I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition,” he told the publication.
Aaron Rodgers’ younger brother criticized him on Twitter
It seems media attention surrounding the Rodgers family feud comes and goes. Recently, things were stirred up again after Jordan made a few strong comments on Twitter.
Before Jordan’s message, Aaron posted a video on Twitter, requesting that people retweet and donate money to help with California recovery efforts. Aaron announced he is partnering with the North Valley Community Foundation and donating $1 million to help fire victims. Jordan responded by criticizing Aaron for not supporting their family in California, reports USA Today. Jordan posted this harsh message on Twitter:
PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE. But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe. Everything else just feels like an act.
What Olivia Munn has to say about the feud
Ex-girlfriend Olivia Munn had a few things to say about Aaron Rodgers’ family drama. During an interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live, she discussed her efforts to help Rodgers and his family repair their relationship. She also gave her opinion the conflict:
I just think it’s really important to try to mend things in a family, and I encouraged that. At the end of the day, I do believe that family, and fame and success, can be really complicated if their dreams are connected to your success. Their work has a direct connection to what he does.
At the end of the day, there are a lot of complications. I don’t think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it’s not okay when you try to stand on someone’s shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what I think they did with him.
