Adam DeVine is a well-known comedian and actor, who made his name on television shows like Modern Family and movies such as Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.

Keep reading to learn about Adam DeVine’s relationship with his fiance, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s awkward PDA, and what DeVine posted that pokes fun at the pair.
Who is Adam DeVine’s fiance?
Adam DeVine was a rising star in 2014 when he met actress Chloe Bridges on the set of the film The Final Girls. They hit it off almost immediately and were spotted in each other’s Instagram posts several times throughout the months that followed. DeVine and Bridges went public with their romance in 2015 and have since been seen everywhere together, from fun dates to Disneyland to glamorous movie premieres.
DeVine proposed to Bridges in October 2019, and in a touching Instagram post, he revealed that: “I love Chloe more than anything, and I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with her amazing self.”
As for Bridges, she shared to her social media account, “we are doing it!! I love this man with my whole heart and I am so excited to be with him forever.” The two are clearly very much in love but that doesn’t stop the longtime couple from joking around at their own expense.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello like public PDA
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are two of the hottest artists in popular music and after the stunning success of their collaborative song “Senorita,” fans started intensely speculating about the status of their relationship. There had been rumors about them dating for some time, but the nature of the song definitely seemed to imply that they were more than friends.
Fans wouldn’t have to wait long before the rumors were confirmed. During the summer of 2019, fans spotted the pair kissing at several locations around California – including one super-steamy makeout session while swimming.
That wasn’t the end of the couple’s public displays of affection. Their August 2019 VMAs performance was sultry and provocative and they went on to make out in public again in September. They reached all-new levels of TMI on September 12th, when Cabello and Mendes posted an Instagram video that featured an up-close visual of them making out, for all the world to see.
While some fans loved it, many were turned off by the intimate display and even claimed that their relationship was fake.
Adam DeVine roasted Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello on Instagram
Adam DeVine is clearly one of the fans who might have had enough of Mendes and Cabello’s awkward PDA. On November 13th, DeVine shared a photo to his Instagram, comparing a shot of Mendes and Cabello swooning all over each other while courtside at a basketball game to a photo of himself and his fiance, Chloe Bridges watching the game intently.
DeVine captioned the post: “Month 4 of dating vs Year 4 #whoworeitbetter.”
While DeVine’s post is clearly a gentle jab at Mendes and Cabello’s new relationship, Shawn Mendes wasn’t offended by it. He even commented on DeVine’s post, “lmfao incredible.”
Whether or not DeVine’s teasing will affect the way that Mendes and Cabello flaunt their relationship remains to be seen, but at this point, it seems unlikely.
