Alec Benjamin and Jimin’s previous encounters
As mentioned, this isn’t the first time Benjamin has spoken up about the BTS member. On Aug. 18, Jimin stopped by Benjamin’s show in Seoul, and both artists shared their encounter on social media

“I had an amazing time in Seoul! thank you for coming to my show, Jimin,” Benjamin posted on Instagram, along with his own cover of BTS’ “Fake Love.”
Meanwhile, news of Benjamin’s plans to collaborate with Jimin may not be much of a surprise to longtime BTS fans. During an interview in September 2019, Benjamin delved into his future collabs.
