Amazon Prime: 28 New Releases Coming in January

Amazon Prime is adding a new batch of movies and television shows to its collection throughout the coming month. Here are 28 of the new titles that you’ll be able to watch on Prime in January.

1. Bone Tomahawk, January 1
Kurt Russell stars in this adventure drama about four men who set out in the Wild West to rescue a group of captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers.

2. The Da Vinci Code, January 1
This 2003 drama stars Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, a professor who, after a murder inside the Louvre, must decipher clues in Da Vinci paintings that eventually lead to the uncovering of a religious mystery that could shake the foundations of Christianity.

3. The St. Valentines Day Surprise, January 1
The 1967 crime drama centers on Al Capone’s Valentine Day surprise for the rival Bugs Moran gang in 1929 Chicago.

4. Taps, January 1
The 1981 film centers on a group of military cadets who take extreme measures to insure the future of their academy when its existence is threatened by local condo developers.

5. An Affair to Remember, January 1
The romantic drama stars Cary Grant as one half of a couple who falls in love and agrees to meet in six months at the Empire State Building – but will it happen?

6. Margin Call, January 4
The 2011 drama thriller follows the key people at an investment bank, over a 24-hour period, during the early stages of the financial crisis.

7. Serpico, January 4
The biographical crime drama chronicles the true story about an honest New York cop who blew the whistle on rampant corruption in the force only to have his comrades turn against him.

8. The Second Mother, January 14
In the 2015 drama, the estranged daughter of a hard-working live-in housekeeper suddenly appears, throwing the unspoken class barriers that exist within the home are thrown into disarray.

9. Spare Parts, January 16
Four Hispanic high school students form a robotics club. With no experience, 800 bucks, used car parts and a dream, this rag tag team goes up against the country’s reigning robotics champion, MIT.

10. Frank Miller’s Sin City, January 16
A film that explores the dark and miserable town, Basin City, and tells the story of three different people, all caught up in violent corruption.

11. Man of Tai Chi, January 23
Keanu Reeves directs and stars in this movie about a young martial artist with unparalleled Tai Chi skills who lands him in a highly lucrative underworld fight club.

12. I’ll See You in My Dreams, January 1
Blythe Danner stars in this 2015 comedy drama as a widow and former songstress who discovers that life can begin anew at any age.

13. Miracle on 34th Street, January 1
The family comedy drama tells the classic Christmas story of a little girl who must convince everyone that Santa Claus is real.

14. Dazed and Confused, January 1
The 1994 comedy centers on the adventures of high school and junior high students on the last day of school in May 1976.

15. Planes, Trains and Automobiles, January 4
In this 1987 drama, Steve Martin stars as a man who must struggle to travel home for Thanksgiving with an obnoxious slob of a shower curtain ring salesman as his only companion.

Audrey Hepburn stars in this romantic comedy as a young New York socialite who becomes interested in a young man who has moved into her apartment building.

17. Hot Tub Time Machine, January 8
A malfunctioning time machine at a ski resort takes a man back to 1986 with his two friends and nephew, where they must relive a fateful night and not change anything to make sure the nephew is born.

18. Mortdecai, January 23
Johnny Depp stars as debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai who races to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain a code that leads to lost Nazi gold.

19. 1408, January 5
John Cusack stars as man who specializes in debunking paranormal occurrences and checks into the fabled room 1408 in the Dolphin Hotel. Soon after settling in, he confronts genuine terror.

20. Goodnight Mommy, January 9
Twin boys move to a new home with their mother after she has face-changing cosmetic surgery, but under her bandages is someone the children don’t recognize.

21. Annie, January 1
Quvenzhane Wallis stars as a foster child, who lives with her mean foster mom, but sees her life change when business tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in.

22. Paper Planes, January 1
An imaginative children’s film about a young Australian boy’s passion for flight and his challenge to compete in the World Paper Plane Championships in Japan.

23. Journey to the Center of the Earth, January 1
The family action adventure film follows a scientist and his nephew who go on a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother and discover a fantastic lost world in the center of the earth.

24. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, January 1
When a diabolical pirate above the sea steals the secret Krabby Patty formula, SpongeBob and his nemesis Plankton must team up in order to get it back.

25. All Creatures Big and Small, January 11
It’s the end of the world and a flood is coming. Luckily for Dave and his son Finny, a couple of clumsy Nestrians, an Ark has been built to save all animals.
