‘The Greatest Showman’ starring Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, and Zac Efron

If you love musicals and Zendaya, you’re in luck. The Greatest Showman tells the story of one man who dreams of a better life for his family. He creates a circus, building a platform and a home for people who are “different.” Thanks to Disney’s partnership with 21st Century Fox, this 2017 release will be available with Disney’s subscription service.

The Greatest Showman joins the Disney+ streaming library on August 14. Until then, fans can watch other movie musicals and stage musicals, including Annie, Newsies, The Sound of Music, and, most recently, the Broadway production of Hamilton featuring the original cast.

‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ joins Disney+ on August 28

After slipping through a mirror, Alice returns to Underland, where she finds the White Queen, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, Tweedledee, and Tweedledum. After that, the character goes through on adventure, even returning to see the Mad Hatter. Alice Through the Looking Glass will be available for streaming beginning on August 28. The original, animated version of Alice in Wonderland is already available on Disney+.

Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’

Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man is placed under house arrest. If you want to know what he was up to during that time, (and what made Ant-Man disappear before Avengers: Infinity War took place,) look no further than the sequel to the Ant-Man movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp. This Marvel film joins Disney+ on August 14.

‘Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge: Adventure Awaits’

Although it might be difficult to travel to Disney World or Disneyland, thanks to the company’s streaming platform, the latest theme park addition can be viewed from the comfort of subscribers’ homes. That’s thanks to a new film, titled Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge: Adventure Awaits.

This production joins Disney+ on August 7. Until then, fans can watch Star Wars movies like The Rise of Skywalker and Return of the Jedi, as well as series’ The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

‘Phineas and Ferb: the Movie: Candace Against the Universe’

I know what we’re going to do today! It’s been a few years since fans caught up with Phineas and Ferb. Rest assured, though, they’re still up to some pretty incredible adventures. After months of anticipation, Phineas and Ferb: the Movie: Candace Against the Universe will join the Disney+ library on August 28.

Movies like The Greatest Showman and Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp join the Disney+ library during August 2020. To learn more about this streaming platform and to subscribe, visit their website.
